Whiteford Hardwood Floors

It turned out to be less expensive to replace floor in dining room than to refinish due to damage to existing hardwood and to make a match to the hallway and existing living room floor. They were prompt with their estimate and arrived exactly on time for the install. They removed all furniture and returned everything when they finished. They installed felt on the bottom of all furniture to insure no scratching of the floor. They completed the job in one day. It was a long day for them but we appreciated that they stayed to finish. The heat vents they installed with the floor are wonderful. They sit flat with the floor. This company and its employees were wonderful to work with.

They completed the job in just 4 days. They are one of the hardest working crews I have ever used and they did not waste time. They cleaned up everything before they left each day. They covered and taped entrances and openings to other areas of the house not being worked on to help minimize the dust. They are both professional and perfectionists when it comes to the work they do. Being senior citizens, we were looking for a company that would move the furniture for us. This was advertised in their ad and they took great pains in moving the furniture without incident.

They completed the job in a week which meant showing up early and leaving around 7 each evening. They are one of the hardest working crews I have ever dealt with. They cleaned up every day before they left both inside and out. They covered and taped entrances and openings to other areas of the house not being worked on to help minimize the dust. When they left we felt like we had a new house. They are perfectionists when it comes to how the new or refinished floors looked. Would definitely use them again.

Outstanding work. We decided on Whiteford Flooring because of the detail they put into their estimate. They saw, and explained, parts of the job that other contractors never mentioned. Then they tended to those details with real skill. The floors look beautiful and they came in right on budget. It was a very satisfying experience and I would recommend their work to anyone who is looking for refinishing or installation.

This is a family business. The crew arrived early as requested. They were professional and worked well together. They completed the project in one day when it was estimated to take a day and a half. They placed felt on the bottom of each piece of furniture. They cleaned the floors and walls once completed. The process of removing the vinyl flooring caused a great deal of dust and they did a good job of vacuuming the majority of it. We did have some issues with communication prior to the install, but that was resolved.
Overall we are happy with the floors and its installation. We would recommend them to anyone wanting hardwood floors. They also refinish existing hardwood floors as well.

I was very pleased with them. I would recommend them. They cleaned up very well when they left. They actually completed the job earlier than estimated even though they had some difficulty with some steps. They were extremely efficient and I was very impressed. I couldn't even tell they were there even though they were cutting wood outside. They even vacuumed floors they didn't work on. It was a family business, so there was a little banter that I could have done without.
