He does really high quality work and has reasonable prices. He is very good. I think he is just very committed to doing a good job.

The previous list reviews of Ray's responsiveness, punctuality, and quality work put him on the list of contractors to obtain estimates from. Ray's estimate was better than most. He wasn't the cheapest, but was the best value in balancing cost with both completeness in the statement of work and explaining to me how he would make the repairs with minimal disruption. During the visit to make the estimate Ray explained how he would make the repair, and what options were available to me. Previously the water damaged materials were removed and the mold was mitigated professionally, so he could see precisely what needed to be done. After matching my wants with what he could do to make a proper repair, he determined it would be a 1-day job. There was some lag time between my decision to move forward on the job and when he could come to do it. Be aware of it, and if Ray is giving you an estimate talk with him about it to understand how long that may be, but don't let that be a problem. He's a busy contractor for a reason. If he wasn't good he wouldn't be busy. I'll take good over speed any day, especially in regards to a home. Just as other reviewers have said, Ray is on time, personable, and a straight shooter. I watched Ray through the day as he made the repair. He is conscientious about the work he is doing, and wasn't satisfied with doing "good enough". The result was just as he described in his estimate, at the price quoted. Overall, Ray did a good job and my experience with him is consistent with the other positive reviews you see. I would definitely use Ray again.

Ray was great and things went very smoothly. I actually found him through my church several years ago (he goes there as well), never had any work done then, but remembered his name and gave him a call. He talked with my wife and I for quite a while figuring everything out that we wanted to do. Initially we got estimates from him on a little bit of framing, electrical, and drywall, but I just did the first two myself and let him do the drywall. It was mostly hanging new drywall on walls, ceiling, a large bulkhead, and a new closet that I built, but there were also a few little repair spots as well as a result of hurricane Sandy damage. He and another guy came out on schedule, worked fast and had a couple of very long days. They finished up about a day earlier than planned. Everything looked great, smooth walls, sharp corners. I will definitely call Ray again down the road if I don't feel like tackling a project!

Great attitude, great job, reasonably priced, and punctual. As a further note, I want to mention how I found Ray. I was looking on Angie's list for a handyman to do my project, and I decided to use the handyman who had the top rating. I will not mention names, but dealing with this guy was a nightmare. Phone calls not returned. Tried to give estimate over the phone, without looking at job, made appointment to come out to look at job, and changed date and time at least twice. Tried to get me to mail him $200 as a down payment before even looking at job (to a P.O. Box, yet). NEVER showed up to look at job, and the last straw was when I told him what week I got off of work early, so that I could meet him where he had another job going on. I told him to call me and that I could take lunch any time. He called a week later, after my schedule had changed. I was looking again and found Ray. I left a description of my problem on his web site, and received a call from him that evening. Can you believe it? I was promptly set up with an appointment for him to look at the job, was then set up with a work appointment, and was greeted in every case with punctuality. I can't say enough about him, his co-worker, and his company. My wife was holding a baby shower in the basement a week later, and we were up against the wall because of all the jerking around from the other guy, so Ray was a life saver. I highly recommend him.

Great! Ray and crew completely remodeled the outside of our house. Ray worked with us in selecting different types of siding , gutters ,letc.Ray is a hard working, efficient young man. Very easy to deal with. They had to remove old siding (2 layers), masonry , a brick front, that'd had fallen away from house and the install new siding. They were very careful not to damage plants, shrubs, etc. I would recommend Ray for any type of remodeling . Other people in neighborhood have complimented us on the house and asked for contractor's name. Thanks, Ray and crew ! Price was very reasonable! A prior estimate to replace just the damaged brick front (1/2 ) was only a little less then remodeling the entire outside of the home.

With Ray and his team (Mike and Dave) everything was done promptly, professionally and with top standards to detail. Communication and explanations on every step of every project was always addressed. No matter how many questions I had all three of the team would give a full down to earth answered and made sure you had no doubts or hesitations. If any levels of the process had to be changed or modified it was done. On a few days when Ray was on another project Mike and Dave continued the projects without delay and made sure everything was done to 100% of my satisfaction. Between the three of them they have allot of years of experience between them so I always felt confident on all of their decisions and professional abilities. With the end result I was very happy with all the projects they have done to this date and will definitely use them for future projects in the very near future ! Ray has always made it a point to stay in touch with me after each project to be sure I am still absolutely satisfied and if I have any little matters have occurred on any of the jobs which none have not. Another added benefit is that Ray has close contacts with with plumbers, electricians and concrete contractors who a very reputable and professional which saved allot of time for me having to track down and locate some on my own.

Ray was very easy to work with. The price quoted was better than most and there were no hidden costs. Workmanship was excellent . Ray attended to every detail. The plumber and electrician were also very efficient . Ray offered advise on all modifications but did not hesitate to make any changes as requested. There was very little interruption in work flow. The entire project took app 3-4 weeks, and a week of that was waiting for the granite counters to be cut and delivered. I would not hesitate to recommend this company for all improvements. Ray is very dependable and experienced. We will definitely use him in the future.

Ray did a great job. I interviewed a number of general contractors in order to get a good understanding of the project and be able to compare. Ray's experience was evident from the start. He made a quick and thorough assessment of the extent of the termite damage in the basement and the best approach to manage it. Ray was flexible and fit in my work so that we could continue with a larger remodel which was on-going. Replacing a sill in the house is not an easy thing to do, yet it was well-done in a timely fashion. I would definitely consider using Ray in the future and in fact am discussing additional work with him right now. Will update when that is completed.
