Macy's - Bel Air

I walked around to 5 registers before I could find anyone able to ring up my merchandise.  At the 5th register, 2 employees were there talking.  One employee was scanning merchandise and the 2nd employee was placing the items in the bag.  There were 4 people in front of me, and it was going very slow.  I mentioned there seemed to be no other registers in the store open.  
I do not understand why 2 employees work one register in a large store, making everyone search and then have to line up to be waited on.   It appears customer service is not a priority.  I had one quick item to purchase and spent almost 40 minutes trying to check out.

The person I dealt with was Bernie.  He was really good and so was the pricing.  They had really good customer service.  Even there delivery, and everything, was good.  They were very careful in delivery and putting it in the home, because I had hardwood floors.  The quality of the furniture they had in the store was like the medium grade quality furniture.
