Excellent! Couldn't have been happier. JT was prompt and focused. So very surprised that he also did the carpentry for the decorative panel molding, which was to perfection. Painting and carpentry was of high quality and performance. Also returned several weeks later to install 2 heavy large framed portraits (4 ft X 5 ft) in the high (20 ft) foyer for no added charge.

Outstanding company. Work quality and professionalism is excellent. John is very customer oriented and works to insure the job is done right. He was able to work around our schedule and get the job done on time.

John has quite a backlog so if you are in a hurry he may not work out but if you can wait and schedule work in the future it's worth waiting for. Our home is about 3600 square feet the exterior job consisted of 8 porch columns, front dental molding across most of the face, several window caps, two circular trim features, front door trim, replacing brick moulding on one part of one garage door and 2 garage door trim. Front door was also repainted red. John called to delay start time but it was because of the morning dew. He called when he was on his way and showed as planned. Areas were inspected prepped and cleaned prior to start. Drop cloths were used on the porch concrete. The job took about 6 hours to fully complete and was done perfectly. All areas were cleaned up prior to leaving. John walked me around for final inspection before payment and left a small amount of paint in case of future touch ups. We are already planning on using them again in the very near future. The work ethic, professionalism and fair pricing make them a great company to work with. We quoted several others who were more than double their price and are also Angie's listers. Most price the home or neighborhood John does not. Mind you we take very good care of our home, so this was not a difficult job by any means and represented preventative coating to protect the wood. We could have easily waited a few more years, so keep that in mind if you use our cost as a basis. Thanks John!

We have used John Thompson many times and we are always pleased with the price, his professionalism, and the results. Two of our neighbors have hired him recently and they are equally pleased.

John has done painting for us and my in-laws for years, both interior and exterior. He is extremely particular about the quality of his and his employee's work. He is very punctual, but if he is running late he calls to let you know. This summer he painted the exterior of our home which included repairing our front porch as well as several pieces of trim that were rotting. He power washed the whole house first. It looked so good after this that if we hadn't needed the trim repairs, we might not have bothered painting. John and his crew then repaired any areas that needed it, primed those areas and did the final painting. John matched our existing trim color perfectly. He worked with us to keep costs down (we elected not to repaint the foundation, for example, because the power washing cleaned it up adequately), and he and his crew finished on schedule and on budget. Another thing we love about John and his crew is that they CLEAN UP AFTER THEMSELVES! Every time John has done painting for us we are amazed at how neat he leaves the work site even if he isn't done. At the end of the job, you will not even know he's been there except that the paint will look fantastic. I cannot say enough nice things about John! He takes pride in his work, he is honest, and he shows up when he promises. In my experience these qualities are not easy to find in a contractor. Don't hesitate to hire him.

I liked them because they were professional and courteous. When I asked him about a quote, he got back to me right away. He wasn't pushy. He gave me a number of different price points.

I received competitive bids. This company was recommended, and John came promptly to give no charge estimate. Called him back few weeks later to accept and to schedule dates for work. Had to delay start due to John's family issues, but only 1 week. John, George and Paul (no Ringo) did a terrific job in 3 full days. Just completed today and very satisfied with the results. Definitely plan to use them again on future projects. Very good "value" compared to others.
