Work was completed correctly. Professional and punctual. Plumbing work is not inexpensive but cheapest is not always the best choice. I would say Grove is reasonable compared to others. Highly recommend.

Spoke with the owner on phone. Very knowledgeable! Told him my current model and serial number of my water heater. He said unit Rheem Power Vent has served you well. I asked him what he thought was a good replacement. He said AO Smith Gas Power Vent. Within 10 minutes he scheduled me for 1PM the next day. Crew show up and replaced unit in 2-1/2 hours. They were very courteous.
I would use them again for any plumbing needs!

They've fixed some major problems for me over the years. I've been pretty happy with them. They are not the cheapest but they're the most dependable. They arrive when they tell you they'll arrive, they will give you an honest estimate of the work and the work they do has always been high quality. I've been very pleased with them. My first dealings with them was before I joined Angie's List I had them come out on an emergency call when I had a PBC line break and they were out in like 2 hours. They did a wonderful job. Their last visit I spent $400.

Initially the job seemed simple and we got an estimate of $1550 - but that was before we got a new spec from BGand E with respect to relocating the meter a good 60 or so feet closer to the street. BGand E has this new initiative to go to smart meters and they have to be as close as possible to the street so the meters can be and quot;readand quot;. This move more than doubled the work Grove had to do, as there was no trenching and a lot less piping in the first pass estimate. The up-charges were understandable and reasonable.
Coordinating with BGand E is no fun... apparently it's like dealing with a small country where everyone is in different bureaucracies that only talk to each other by sending messages by carrier pigeons... lots of left hands not tracking what the right hands are doing... at least not until all the pigeons got where they needed to go and the trucks showed up. The whole process of lining up the actual changeover between Grove and BGand E was pretty unreal. We were getting very frustrated because it was taking for-ev-ver! but really that wasn't on Grove... We were annoyed and Grove was who we were talking to. When BGand E finally showed up... surprise! ... they did not give Grove much of a heads up. But I have too say that once everyone was on site it went smoothly. The people from Grove are always nice and good about cleaning up.
We use Grove for yer normal plumbing maintenance. They do good work and the charges are always very reasonable.
The only negative thing I can say about Grove is that they don't do email and phone very well... but I am contaminated with a New York City impatience regarding less than instant communication, so not getting someone on the phone on the first call, or not having an email where I can pop out a question at 11pm and expect and receive and answer by 9am puts me in a bad mood... so I am likely expecting too much... I know it... I am not a relaxed person with respect to communications.
The fact is I can say worse about most other plumbers I have dealt with in my life. Grove has never over charged us. They are, in fact, the best residential plumbers I've ever dealt with. The house has some built in problems and challenges and they've had to come back to do part one and part two repairs because of that, but we've never been unhappy with the work or the cost... and at the end of the day that is what matters.

Two service personnel were dispatched. Both were very professional in performing their duties. We have used Grove Plumbing and Heating for years and are very satisfied with the work that they do.

My late father used Grove for his all of his plumbing needs. Now I know why: They know their customers and give them good service.
I was in the process of putting the house on the market for sale when the person charged with cleaning up the place called me (I live out of state) to tell me that there was no water...at all! She checked all the obvious stuff but said that the pressure gage on the water tank read zero. I immediately called Grove. John got back to me right away and immediately sent someone over who was familiar with the system (a well) and the property.
John called later the same day and gave me an idea of what might be involved with getting the system working again. He said that the most obvious source of the problem might be the water tank, and that before we worry about anything else, the tank should be replaced since it was over 25 years old (he had it in his records). He gave me a ball park price for the replacement and had someone over there the next morning to replace the tank. That did it...now the water is back, the system is working and all is 'well' .

Very well. Neat, clean, punctual. Next-day service, and I was a new customer looking for a good plumber. I think I found one.

Their man arrived within the scheduled time and went straight to work. He worked cleanly (a rarity among plumbers) and finished in a timely manner. The price seemed appropriate, if a lot, but considering the old pump was original equipment installed when the house was built in '87, it seemed acceptable.

PLUMBER WAS PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS, BUT MOVED A LITTLE SLOW. WORK WAS SATISFACTORY AND ADEQUATE ALTHOUGH THE COMPANY DID NOT HAVE A 'SIDE MOUNT' KIT FOR MY DISHWASHER SO THAT IT COULD BE MOUNTED TO MY CABINET (SINCE IT COULD NOT BE MOUNTED TO THE GRANITE COUNTERTOP).

VERY CONSIDERATE, QUICK SERVICE. VERY INFORMATIVE. VERY PLEASED, WILL CALL THEM AGAIN. THEIR RESPONSE TIME WAS ALSO EXTREMELY QUICK. I WILL TAKE THEM UP ON THEIR RECOMMENDATIONS TO REPLACE TWO UPSTAIRS TOILETS.
