The owner posted a photo of my car saying that another shop that I was getting worked on and stated the shop messed up my FJ cruiser. Duffy's did the bakes on my car, they never messed anything up, in fact they even fixed my tire seal for free...It was the best shop I have been to in Harford County so far. So my question is this If you lie about this what else would you like about? how many lies have you given to customers about repairs? I have photo evidence and proof its my car but I can't post it here feel free to look on Yelp and Google...I hate liars.

You went on a holy tear with fake reviews about this company, see our yelp account, and the funny thing , is your own bogus review was removed from Duffy's garage yelp account, well because it is bogus. No where has Nicole ever post a comment about you, your vehicle, Duffy's. NO WHERE! You do not own the only Yellow FJ. Since you felt so compelled to promulgate such reviews over most social media platforms, we have decided to help you be fully transparent for Angie's List users. I hope you enjoy this! Now the best part! You have decided to be the defender of Duffy's garage. Here is the history, Duffy's garage is owned by Barry E. Coughlin, Sean Coughlin, and Brian Coughlin. The corporate's name is BAD AUTOMOTIVE. It was established in 2015 to purchase First Choice Automotive, this is the best part, First Choice Automotive vanished in August 2020. Poof, gone! But you know that Kandir, before the facebook page was removed is was a love-a-thon, bro-mance between you and that company. First Choice Automotive vanished so fast, even their bank could not find them. Like they say, run and hide, change your name and phone number and hopefully they do not find you! The best part is that Barry E Coughlin confirmed in writing that Duffy's is the successor company of First Choice Automotive, so the clients now have recourse on all warranty claims. The truth sure does sting. If you need any more history lessons, we are here to help. Before you write another bogus review, you may want to be an actual customer of the business.

It was horrible. They lied to us every time we wanted a status on the work being done. They stalled and said they were ordering parts or waiting on something. When we went after about 10 days to take the vehicle to some place else, before any work had even been started all of the sudden it was put on a lift and they were working on it. When we finally told them we were picking the vehicle up they essentially held the car hostage and would only release it if we paid the bill in full in cash. When we asked to be provided with a complete breakdown of the work performed we were given a generic bill that showed and amount and parts and really nothing else.
Description of Work: We had an automobile that needed some work performed to pass the Maryland inspection. They had car for almost two weeks and did about 4 hours of work.

This review is so beyond absurd that any response to this absurdity would push it to the realm of sublime. Every statement from this person is false. Let's start with her son tried to play mechanic and destroyed the sub frame to the same master tech supplying the incorrect parts. Per Maryland Comar, a full itemized bill was presented for payment, just like the other 90,000 invoice we have generated since 1989. The real problem is failed parenting skills that has created a person who feels entitled and wants instant gratification after he destroys his own vehicle. Probably cause by the son's chronic substance abuse. We recommend that any potential client please read our reviews on line, google, yelp, repair pal, and all certified reviews on our website. As for this person, they were made to pay cash and asked never to return, only the 7th person since 1989 that we have fired as a customer. That fact speaks volumes about [Member Name Removed] and her master mechanic son!
