We are locally owned and operated, licensed, bonded, and insured. All of our work is 100% satisfaction guaranteed and we offer a 5 year warranty, parts and labor, on new installations. We have 2 hour appointment windows so you don't have to wait around all day and our trucks are fully stocked. Most of the work is performed by the owner but all plumbing technicians are drug tested, background check, expertly trained and wear identification. Work was done..very rude worker and rude owner Chris.. receptionist answer phone no help at all..owner was supposed come Monday to look at yard that was dug up did not show.. finally came tues and said yard will fix itself and they don't repair that after digging it up..it would of taken a few minutes on their part..now I'm left to do it on my own..also asked for drop cloth on day of work and was told no..first they said drop cloth was too small..then said they don't have one..they were go wear footies..drywall dust all over and on my carpet..was not cleaned up..good work on plumbing fix..they all need to have a better pleasant attitude toward their clients..

I went with them because they could come right away. They were very conscientious. The first day that they came - It was backing up into the bathtub downstairs and coming out the bottom of the toilet downstairs. They came in and it flushed out several times. He felt like he was hitting a blockage of sometime so he was afraid there was a blockage under the concrete. Someone from his office brought out a camera to look if they could see anything. He suspected the problem was outside. They had to dig up the pipe. They didn't dig up much. They were very careful with what they did. When they got to the pipe it had just collapsed. They dug by hand back to the house to get past where the pipe was cracked so they could cut it off and put PVC in there. They ended up taking out a 5 or 6 foot section and replaced it. They were very conscientious with where they put the dirt back. When they put the PVC in they put two pieces that come out of the ground that they can access as drains that they can use to flush it out if they need to also. I would use them again and I've recommended them to a couple of friends.

Arrived on time/ had to return to shop to acquire correct part for my well pump. Work completed quickly and correctly. On the down side, techs left used shoe covers in basement, and used WC leaving light on when done. All things considered, B- value.

We had Five Star replace our busted Polybutylene Water Main and Hot Water Heater. We had a few estimates and ultimately decided with Five Star based on the pricing and experience with polybutylene. The 2 man team arrived at 8:30AM (as scheduled) and were able to leave around 3PM. The "trenchless pipe replacement" is great, as it leaves minimal damage to your lawn.

The quote and overall install went well. Five Star used a trenchless method to minimize damage to my exterior landscaping. Overall, there was minimal landscape damage. The work was done in September and the grass was back to original shape by May. the installation took four hours which was less than the six hours Five Star said it would take. I shopped around and Five Star was able to beat quotes from competitors. I would definitely use them again. They were 30 minutes late to the installion due to traffic coming from Bel Air to get to Ellicott City they are typically punctual and arrived on time for the quote.

They took out the damaged portion of pipe and replaced it with a new piece of pipe. They also took a water sample to be tested to see if a water softening systems would help reduce pipe damage.

Made an appointment via the website on a Saturday. Since it was a non-emergency, they called first thing Monday to confirm a 2 hour window. That they use 2 hour windows instead of 4 or 8 is awesome! The showed up right on time, examined the situation, recommended a course of action that was actually LESS than I expected. The plumber worked nearly and quickly, even though the ceiling location was awkward over a refrigerator. He was done in 30 minutes, all was cleaned up and the problem was solved. All we have to do is a little drywall repair and we can forget we had the issue. Well done!

We have relied on Chris and his company for a number of years at a couple of houses that we have owned. He and his team are always prompt and professional, and leave the work area neat and clean (even after messy jobs!). The houses we owned are older and have had their share of plumbing problems. Chris has always performed good cost effective solutions to keep things in good working order.
With our most recent experience, we had scheduled a sump pump replacement for a non-working pump. Chris consulted me on the phone a week ago and provided an estimate, and we set a date for the service. With very heavy rainfall this week, we clearly needed to speed up the job. Five Star plumbing responded, and got the work done for less than Chris's original estimate.
I have recommended this company many times, and will continue to do so.

Five Star replaced our polybutylene pipe with ease and no damage to our yard. We were very impressed and relieved to have the service completed. Five Star was a little late to start the service but it was snowing that day so I'll give them a break ;-) They were very professional and reasonably priced. Not what I wanted. Did not provide adequate fix when I indicated this was not the product I thought I was buying. Still not really usable as too hard to turn on.

"It is very disappointing that [member name removed] was unhappy with the job we did for her. We always try to go above and beyond for our customers and treat them as we would like to be treated as if we were making the purchase. We installed a direct buriel water hydrant for [member name removed]. It is not necessarily a commercial or a residential product. It is the only product that would work for her requirements. She complained that the hydrant was hard to turn on and off. I contacted the manufacturer and had them look at the faucet. They informed me that the faucet was working properly and there were no adjustments that would make it work easier for her. I went to several suppliers and tried different brands of hydrants until I found one that operated easier. We returned and at no charge, replaced the hydrant with a new easier one. The $900 price tag for the installation was very reasonable (although admittingly $900 is a lot to spend to water your garden, but that is a personal choice) as we had to install 16 feet of underground water line trenchless using boring equipment to tunnel under her rear deck from her house to beyond her deck. If there were any pricing concerns there was adequate time to get comparative estimates. We quoted her the original price in December 2012 and performed the work on July 5th and on August 1st returned and replaced the hydrant."

My tenant called with a plumbing issue of water backing up into tubs and not flowing out of toilets at 3pm on Friday afternoon. I selected Five Star because they were located nearby. Chris was at the house very quickly and phoned me to inform me that the issue was septic not plumbing and that I needed to call a specific person at a local pump-out company, tell him and quot;Chris saidand quot; an explanation of what he observed, and that we needed an immediate pump out to make the house usable for the tenants. While Chris was already at the house diagnosing and advising, the office staff was accepting my credit card over the phone for the visit charge. Everything was handled very quickly and without my needing to be present. Thanks to this responsiveness, we were able to also get an immediate pump out and the tenants were not inconvenienced. Very nice people.

When I called, I got a real person-turned out it was the owner. It's a small company. He was able to come out the same day. He called me during the day to update me on a time. When he arrived, he quickly diagnosed the problem, got the parts from his truck, and fixed it! Great service!

The overall experience couldn't have been better. Chris arrived as scheduled to provide the estimate and answered any questions that I had. I received multiple quotes for the job, and Five Star's quote was one of the lowest. After I scheduled the job, Five Star showed up on time and completed the work at the quoted price within a few hours. When the job was complete, you could barely tell that they were there. They were very professional and I would not hesitate to use them again for any plumbing work that I needed.

Five Star Plumbing was wonderful! Exceeded our expectations. Got here on-time and had the job done in 2.5 hours (other companies quoted 5 - 9 hours), and left our yard the way it was before they came. They didn't even need to jack hammer the rest of our floor like the other companies were proposing. I will definitely use them again and refer them to all our clients, family and friends! They came out four times because they never got the issue resolved. My basement kept overflowing, the pipes kept leaking into my laundry room. They came out the first time and I thought everything was great and then two weeks later they had to come again, then two weeks again, then two weeks again. I called them and I said this shouldnt be happening every two weeks. They said the could not guarantee their work because it is drainage and they do not know what I was throwing down there. I told them it was only toilet paper going down there and it should not be clogging up within a two week time. The gentleman I worked with, and I call him a gentleman in a very loose way. He was very unprofessional, very discourteous, we ended up getting into a shouting match and I told him I would take my business elsewhere and I called another company who came out the same morning and that was it.

Called for service, appointment schedule for 2 days later, arrived on time, wore "booties" to keep floors clean. Inspected problem, indicate fix -- fixed toilets immediately (had parts in truck). Ordered new toilet, which arrived within 48 hours, returned following day to install. Work was done promptly, neatly (even washed the floor after installing new toilet), entered into service agreement for maintenance and annual inspections - he conducted first inspection, find minor problems that I was aware of and offered rreasonable prices to repair. I will be having butelyne piping replaced, was provided an estimate and will schedule work when funds are availab.e Very positive experience. Very polite and respectful.

JIM THE PLUMBER TECHNICIAN WAS EXCELLENT. HE WAS ON TIME. THE LEAK WAS FIXED WITH VERY LITTLE DAMAGE TO THE DRYWALL IN OUR FAMILY ROOM CEILING. HE WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO FIND PARTS AT THE HARDWARE STORE THAT WERE ON SALE. NEAT AND VERY PROFESSIONAL.
