"Mr. [Member Name Removed] First of all I want to apologize for any inconvenience this transaction may have caused Mr.[Member Name Removed] . Here at Corbin fuel we hold customer service to a very high standard and when we hear a customer is unsatisfied we will do our absolute best to resolve the issue. First of all, and most importantly we attempted to make an automatic oil delivery in mid-February when Mr.[Member Name Removed] was due for a delivery. According to our records Mr.[Member Name Removed] had approximately 100 gallons of oil in his tank in Mid-February when he refused his delivery. It is also to be noted that Mr. [Member Name Removed] requested that we "call a day ahead to confirm delivery" anytime we are going to make a delivery. While this is not something we normally do we made an exception to try and better serve Mr.[Member Name Removed]. When we called to "confirm the delivery a day ahead" Mr. [Member Name Removed] refused the delivery and he was told to call us back when he wanted to receive the oil delivery. So as time passed and we did not hear from Mr. [Member Name Removed] we tried to call him. Three separate times and left messages each time to be exact. This is noted on [Member Name Removed]'s account. Note that Mr. [Member Name Removed] refused his auto delivery and was told to call us back when he was ready to do so. Mr. [Member Name Removed] failed to do so. As a further courtesy (knowing he was low on oil) we tried to call Mr. [Member Name Removed] 3 more times with no answer. Again this is documented on [Member Name Removed]'s account. Due to Mr. [Member Name Removed] requesting "we call a day ahead to confirm deliveries" we could not just simply take the oil to the customer. Monday March 13th, we are expected 4-6 inches of snow to begin this day in the evening. As Mr. [Member Name Removed] said he called us and asked for a delivery on this day. He was told we would do our best to get his delivery to him as quickly as we could and also reminded we have tried over 4 times now to bring him his delivery. In the following week we tried to make Mr. [Member Name Removed]'s oil delivery but unfortunately the driveway was unplowed and there were no tire tracks going in or out of the driveway so the driver deemed the delivery unsafe. It's to be noted this was two days after the snow storm. In short we did everything in our power to get this customer his oil even past what company polices dictate. We try our absolute best every day for our customers and if one looks at our reviews they will see that [Member Name Removed]'s review of F is very out of the norm for our company. Mr. [Member Name Removed] mentioned our cap pricing and a penalty. Corbin Fuel does not charge our customers for Cap protection and there is no plenty for "breaking the cap" as Mr. [Member Name Removed] stated. When Mr.[Member Name Removed] called we tried to explain this in a 18 minute phone conversation to no avail. Something we will not stand for here at Corbin is a customer personally attacking a customer and that's why we chose to close [Member Name Removed]'s account. As Mr.[Member Name Removed] said Corbin is a small family owned business since 1918 and we strive every day to be the best we can be. We support competition in our business to insure the customer is getting the best bang for their buck. Attempts to obtain service from another discount provider proved futile, with 16 days lapsing from my fill request and never showed.
Corbin was very professional, supportive, local and fast. Competitive prices too.
