Clarke's Express Shoe & Leather Repair has been in business since 1991. Clarke's original shop is located in Baltimore County (Dundalk). The owner and Master Cobbler, "Jim" Farrell Clarke opened his second shop in 2010 where Sam's Shoe Repair used to be located at 23 S. Main St. (REAR) in Harford County (Bel Air). Since Jim does all of the repairs for both of his shops, his business hours are some what limited. Think of Jim as a Shoe Doctor with two offices.

We specialize in repairing, resoling and alterations of shoes and boots. We also repair handbags, wallets, belts, leather jackets, etc. Expert baseball glove restringing plus many other types of repairs. We also carry Shoe and leather care products.

I have plastic cleats put on my shoes to reduce wear on the heels. The price was $3.00 I believe, very reasonable. I have also had heels and/or soles done. All work is excellent.
Description of Work: Sam's was run by an oriental gentleman who retired several years ago.(He was excellent.) The new owner & his son operate Sam's under the name Clarke's Express Shoe repair. They have another location at 6920 Holabird Avenue in Dundalk. I have only patronized the Belair shop. Their work is excellent, & prices are resonable. They have even texted me to let me know my shoes were ready.

THE ESTABLISHMENT IS OLD AND A LITTLE CLUTTERED. THE OWNER IS VERY FRIENDLY AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. IT DID TAKE OVER ONE MONTH FOR THE SHOES TO BE REPAIRED AND PICKED UP. THE SERVICE DONE WAS EXCELLENT.
