This is the second tree that we have purchased from this large nursery on Route 28 in Beallsville. You select the tree in the field and it is planted at a mutually convenient time. Pete Driscoll, the President and owner, is very knowledgeable about trees and is very helpful. There is no pressure to purchase. For large trees, planting by the company is a must because of the weight and size of the root ball (the cost of planting and the guarantee is 60% of the cost of the tree). The planting was done by a crew of three who worked extremely hard digging the hole and setting the tree just right. The crew cleaned up after the planting, including dressing the area around existing trees. We are extremely pleased with the entire process.
