My internet is pretty speedy. I could upgrade. You have to pay another $10 a month. My broadband can be at a higher level. I have the lowest level, the cheapest internet broadband. They said, "You have the least. You could go up for another $10." I don't have any trouble with my internet. Their people - the landline workers - are picketing because they feel the corporation is making so much money and it's not ending up on their paycheck. They're all greedy. That's my take. I'm a single person with a single user line. They offered some deals for getting a pretty good price on a certain number of gigabytes. So that was good.

I've been with Verizon cellphone for over 10 years. They're fine. They're okay. Where one of my children lives, you can only talk on the phone if you have Verizon. Verizon is the only one that goes up into the mountains, nobody else.

I have 2 landlines. I have one of those old flip phones and I have one of those pay as you go systems. It's still through Verizon but it's not a contract. I put money in the account. I actually have a contract for 2 landlines and for our internet. They are hard to reach, they are not particularly responsive. I don't have a television but they keep coming to my door, sending me stuff trying to sell me the all inclusive package that includes a television service. They can't get it straight that I don't want it so they are bugging me constantly about that. The quality is good, I'm not unhappy with that.

I think that it is expensive. I think the quality is okay. They are all big corporations and I have never been satisfied with other competitors either. I have not used their (repair) services since I subscribed. I have not had any problems with them. They are okay. I did not have an issue with their professionalism. I think all of the major competitors are all the same.

 I waited all the rest of the day but no service was ever activated. Contacted Verizon customer support without any positive result. Was promised call backs multiple times by 6 different agents over 6 days and never once received one. 6 days later I am still without internet service, and still being told "tomorrow" .  It is totally abysmal that a company can act this way and still be in service.   I asked for a manager's contact information multiple times and was told that that information can't be given out.  So there is no accountability whatsoever and customer service can tell you whatever they want.

I can't in good conscience not let others know how appallingly poor the service is and how frustrating their customer care is. 

As of 11/16 I still don't a working internet connection and still have not received any of the promised call backs or repair updates.  Every time I contact their HSI support staff, I have to start at the beginning as if they aren't actually recording any of it in my account record even though they say they are.  Unbelievably shoddy.

I am going to be dropping them soon to go with another provider for the landline. I had a question about my bill and contacted Verizon about it. I was transferred to the correct department for my issue, but they couldn't help me. The departments within Verizon do not communicate to get a problem resolved. And their Supervisors do not help either. I asked for a Supervisor one time and was told that person doesn't want to come to the phone. I have also called and to speak with Customer Service and it was located in the Philippines. I was told they do not have a Supervisor in that call center. I left a message for someone to call me back and no one ever did. It seems like every time I call, each department is quick to pass the buck to another department - not taking ownership of a customer's problem. Their system has also tried to billed me for a payment that they have already received. MyVerizon and their Billing department are saying two different things. There is also no sense of urgency to get my problem resolved. These people aren't professional and they are certainly not dependable. Customer Service is not 1 stop shopping at Verizon and for this reason I will take my business elsewhere.

Sometimes the internet stops working; this is due to weather, power outages or even GIC (Ground Induced Currents) resulting from solar flairs.  Versions automated service is really cool... computer voice actually trouble shoots and fixes the problem without having to wait for a human.  I like it!

It took me over 20 minutes just to locate a phone number for a live person to help assist me.  I am pretty Internet savvy but their website (when it is working) is extremely difficult to navigate.

It all went perfectly, once the order was placed. Verizon notified me via text message of the status of the technician's arrival, which was spot on. He did a very clean job with the installation and everything's been working well.

Occasionally I find that the downloading is really slow from Verizon on the internet. There are just too many people on it, and then I get the buffering effect like what I am watching slows down and I have to catch up and wait for 15-20 seconds and then it's static and then it comes back and starts moving again. That has been pretty regular for the whole 2 years. I'm not sure why that happens other than just too many people on there at one time. They don't have the fiber optic system in my area so it's just through the phone lines. If they have fiber optic, I would be on it but they don't have them. I think $65 a month is high. I think we are behind the rest of the industrialized world where there's real competition on this. I think it's outrageous to be paying $65 a month just for local regular telephone service, no long distance plus internet. When I call to try and get that stuff corrected, they don't correct it. They are not successful in resolving the problem. They seem to be polite and superficially helpful.

I have a standard contract with them. I have a bundle plan. I don't think that they are any better than anybody else is in my area or satellite. I don't like satellite so this is what we have. They're responsive. They'll give you a window and they will be there between 8 and 5.

They set up my phone to a different # than my existing #. Then denied that it was there fault. Big hassle getting it ported over to correct #. Had to work with a supervisor to get any satisfaction.
Internet is slow even though I upgrade costing extra $10/month.
Internet drops at least once every 2 weeks.
I am going back to Comcast as soon as my contract ends.
