Good communication with Poison Control and good nursing care.
However, the Food Service was terrible.  Canned food, foods with preservatives and colorings, food with high fructose corn syrup per labels.
I had occasion to need a hospital again and did not go to UMH due to liver problems and fear of not being able to eat anything while there.
The food is not healthy and they should be completely re-vamped.

It was a fine experience. I've been seeing him for more than 10 years. He's a very good doctor and I like him. He was recommended to me by my old dentist. I checked other doctors for possibility and he was the one that was most accepting for me and my wife's attitude towards medicine. He volunteers at a free clinic so he is very well in tune about our thoughts about medicine and how medicine should be practiced that's why we ended up going with him. He has 2-3 places to make appointments. They have also set up several satellite centers for their walk ins so we can get an appointment with him. If you have a minor problem, we can just go to the walk in clinic. I think the doctors there are competent but because of the parameters under which they operate, they're limited in what they can do to treat you. They can provide basic medical care but if you need more services, then they refer you to other physicians or to the hospital itself. The only negative part id they're not open for 24 hours.

The Hospital itself provided an immaculate, well-respected venue for its affiliated professionals to perform their services. I would always choose an Union Memorial-affiliated physician over others.

Dr Senatore performed minor surgery to help the recently injured toe nail.
 He suggested totally removing the other toe nail permanently but I told him it did not hurt and as a woman, I don't want to be without my toenail when I wear sandals.  Since this toenail did not hurt, its just hard to trim, he suggested going to a salon and getting a pedicure because its a little difficult for me to cut my toe nails.
 
The toe he worked on is now healed and fine.  I am still cutting my own toe nails.

You have to schedule an appointment maybe a month or two in advance and you should expect to wait a half hour to be seen.

I and my wife were referred to him and have been seeing him for years. He is very professional and accomplished. I rate him very highly.
