This company did an excellent job in refinishing our old (~1937) cast iron tube. Truly looks brand new after the refinish. However, I couldn't give them 5 stars due to a bit of a mess I wound up being responsible for after the work was complete. Once the tub work was complete, there was paint residue everywhere in the bathroom--on the floor, on the tile walls, on the glass, that required a few hours worth of scrubbing to remove it. The bathroom had to be scrubbed down from the ceiling light fixture to the floor. And the floor still has paint residue on it I can't get off. There is also a trail of paint from the bathroom to the front sidewalk, in the shape of a footprint. Footprints on the hardwood floors, area rug, front patio and steps leading up to the house. I expected some clean up afterwards, just not to the extent it was. After all, they did sand and repaint. I just wasn't expecting the amount of clean up I'd have to do. Nor was I prepared for it. If they had spent as much time with me telling me how to prepare the space for work (i.e. I would have covered everything with paper or plastic, etc) as they did trying to upsell me on things I wasn't interested in, then it might have been all okay in the end. Bottom line-I recommend their work. They are good at what they do and overly communicative (in perhaps the wrong areas), but just make sure you take some time to prepare the work area ahead of time.

The re-glazing process was fine and customer service was great. HOWEVER, while the end result looked great, it was so slippery it was like stepping onto an ice rink. Ended up re-tiling, which is what I should have done in the first place. Tried three different types of bath mats and nothing worked. Even the ones with suction cups would slide around. Just not worth it in the end; safety first!
