They were prompt and took down the tree with no problems. They came back and ground the bark that was left over from the trunk. The office called and said there was something wrong with the check and they couldn't cash it. I was confused because I asked my bank and they said there was never an attempt to cash the check. We tried calling them multiple times and my husband finally got a hold of them and they just took his info down and we haven't heard from them again.

I found this company somehow online BEFORE I signed up with Angie's List. In fact, Steve is the one who told me for my fencing that I should NOT be using the BBB to find a reputable contractor, but Angie's List instead. And was he ever right!
I sent Steve an formatted email from his website inquiring about tree removal (after having gotten an outlandish quote of $3000), but I accidentally provided the wrong email address for him to reply to me. Steve DROVE OUT TO MY ADDRESS and left a handwritten note in my doorway as follow up, letting me know that he tried to get back to me but the email wasn't working. WOW! AAA+++
As soon as I called him, he came by and looked at the work with me, gave me a quote on the spot, I accepted and signed a contract. We had a bout of bad weather which caused a delay in the work for a few weeks, but when they did come out, they did a great job and went the extra mile to remove and grind debris and sticks etc from the yard as well. I was very impressed.
