About us

A small 4-man woodworking shop, using antique machinery and tools when feasible. We do not accept credit cards. We work on a 20% deposit/balance on completion basis. Regular customers known to us can get 30-day accounts. We do not ship; work must be picked up at out shop. We work for the end user, small carpenters or major contractors. Business started January 1991.

Services we offer

We are a small custom architectural millwork company specializing in the fabrication of historically accurate moulding & millwork. We are able to reproduce practically anything: handrail transitions, curved crown moulding, double-hung sash, cornice brackets, glazed french doors... anything. We have contributed work to over a hundred historic buildings and sites.

Services we don't offer

Anything on site. We do in-shop fabrication only. But we can recommend installers for our work. No laminate/cabinet/countertop type work. Mostly solid wood components rather than cabinetry per se. We have made custom cabinet doors and drawer fronts, island legs and the like, but not the cabinet carcasses themselves. Usually. We do very little repair work. Also no finishing. We will machine for hardware specified by others, but we do not provide hardware.

Description of Work: I visited their shop and was impressed with the complex type of work they did. Spiral stair hand railings all one piece.
