Prior to this date, Tony spent about 3 weeks trying to source an instrument panel for my Nissan Frontier truck. The part that came in did not match the part in my truck (he told the supplier I had a tachometer), so Tony sent it back.
I found a place on the internet that rebuilds instrument panels. Tony removed my instrument panel and drove my truck to my house (3 blocks away) (I am not as bold as Tony). I have contacted the company, mailed the part, and am waiting 10 days for it's return. When it comes back to me T and S will install it. I will pay when the job is complete.
I recently bought a 2001 Honda CRV from T and S Auto. Basically they inspect the vehicles they buy at auction and only choose the best ones to work on, provide all the required maintenance, and sell the vehicle at low to mid-range Dealer book value. Most dealers don't do the service and a lot of dealers are selling used cars at 2-3 times the book value. With T and S, you get the car that you can afford that is in good shape. Another thing they do for people looking for a used vehicle is to keep an eye out for a vehicle that you want. If you do not like the vehicle they thought you'd like (what you've said) they will sell the vehicle to another person. So there is no pressure.
The third thing I like about Tand S is that, if you are a woman, you do not need to bring a man with you to get a fair deal. They explain what is wrong with your vehicle, give you options and, unless what you want is unsafe (they will not do unsafe), they will explain to you what the consequences of your choice most likely will be. They are honest. There is a small place on the ticket to record what needs to be repaired next (in the case that you do not want to fix something right away). They treat men and women the same. Also there are no women-in-bathing-suits holding-a-car-part calendars in the shop.
Their prices are fair, not cheap. They stand behind their work.

They will do a full diagnostic on your car, tell you everything wrong, and give you a varied list of options. Often times Tony and Steve will tell you 1) what has to be done for the car to function; 2) what doesn't need to be done immediately but should be monitored; and 3) what features don't actually need to be fixed but are broken. They will give you price options for different parts, and they will never pressure you in to anything. They are exactly the kind of mechanics you want: knowledgeable and trustworthy. I trust them so much I bought a car from them (which runs great, by the way).

I had a water pump repalced, which is sort of a lengthy job on my car, then I ordered a remote for my car, an antennae and an oil change. They are very busy so I set it up for when I went away for a few days. I called them because I was coming back a day early unexpectedly. They had my car ready when I got there. Good Service!

I called up Tand S Auto, talked to Steve, and told him I believed I needed some new brake pads on the rear breaks of my 1998 Plymouth Minivan. He asked me a few questions, and then told me that if it was just pads, it would be about $150. But he wouldn't know anything for sure until he took a look for himself. I understood, and made an appointment to drop the van off. (They have an after-hours key slot (though it would behoove you to bring your own envelope and fill out the information on it beforehand).) After he took a look at the van, he called me up and suggested that I replace the entire back break system. At first, I thought this might be just another mechanic shoveling some BS. But he explained to me in detail everything that he saw once he inspected it. Then he took as much time as I needed answering every question I had. He also gave me plenty of options on price in terms of what parts to use, and conceded that at the end of the day, it was my car and I could choose to do whatever I wanted with it, and even gave me a cheaper option if I didn't want the entire break system replaced. I trusted him, and chose to have the work done as he suggested. They got the work done on time, and even fixed (free of charge) one of the windshield wipers that stopped working a while ago. When I went to pick it up, Tony showed me all the old parts that they took out of the van and replaced, and pointed out all the problem areas that they saw during the inspection, and explained to me why they were a problem. At the end deal, Steve suggested that I return with the van in about 1,000 miles (free of charge) just to have the breaks tightened up and double-checked since they replaced so much. All in all, a great experience.

I was having bad performance issues with my Chevy Impala. T and S went over the whole car and told me what need to be fixed right away and in the future. The main problem with the performance issue was the catalytic converter and the tune-up. After the work was done the car runs excellent.

I had a leak on my Nissan Altima and took it to Tand S. They went over the whole car and discovered the radiator had a leak and needed to be replaced. The items above were also discovered and fixed. All the parts replaced were genuine dealer parts not some after market parts. They also told about some items that will need to be addressed in the near future.

They solved the problem in a timely manner instead of us having to wait for a few weeks. They are local and close by. All went well. I would go there again and I would recommend them.

They were so wonderful. They were very honest and told us that we were throwing our money away by continually fixing this car to try and keep it running. They told us that we would be better off buying a newer car.

When our old mechanic retired, it was he who recommend we go to this service station, a place where he used to work. We are pleased with his suggestion. They are reliable, honest, and courteous to us when we need to visit them. Their pricing is reasonable as well. I would certainly recommend them to others.

They did a great job, kept me up to date on progress, did a screen of the computer messages for no charge just to let me know what else was going on with the engine, and showed me the parts replaced and the boxes from the parts they used. They beat all other estimates by at least 200. I was very pleased.

I have gone to T and S Auto since they opened in 1997. The shop owners Tony and Steve are very clean, professional, have great prices, and know just about all automobiles. They take the time to explain the work that needs to be done and options to fix the problem. Once the work is complete, they save the part(s) to show and explain how the part(s) work or why they failed. Overall, T and S Auto makes you want to go back for auto service. Give them a try and tell them Jason sent you. Good Luck!
