The work turned out fine. They were prompt, professional, and courteous. I would use them again if needed.

Speedy Electric is really good. You can?t beat their prices; they are really fair. If you have something that is broken, they?ll fix it for you rather than selling you a replacement. We?ve used them at least half a dozen times and we really like them. You?d have to call them a couple of times, for them to come over, though.

Took my call right away and came out to look at the job the next day. But when he came out he told us that our existing electrical box didn't meet code because there wasn't a master breaker. He said if he pulled a permit for the job, as we requested, we'd probably fail and have to pay to have a new breaker box installed. He also said he'd have to put the box for the generator outside the electrical closet because the only space in the closet was below the existing box and he said that it would be too low to meet code. Later electricians explained to us that although newer boxes have master breakers, our box, which had six switches to turn everything off, was still within code. Also, they told us that breaker boxes can't be above a certain height, but there is no restriction about how low they can be. The electrician who did the job did pull a permit for us. We never heard from Speedy again, and we didn't follow up since he didn't seem to know what he was talking about. Speedy to look at the job; not speedy to do it, I guess.

In this day & age it is hard to find quality and when you do you stick with it. Speedy electric in one of quality.

They came right out and accessed the problems. They found the problem quickly and finished in a couple of hours. They were on time and didn't try to milk the clock. They were very friendly, honest and professional.

Process was as smooth as possible. They did great work and were extremely reliable. Price was middle of the road but no hassles really made it worth it.
