If you are looking for a highly qualified re-modeler with reasonable prices, we suggest that you talk to Neal Colvard of Signature Renovations. Neal is an intelligent and personable re-modeler who is easy to work with. He also gives very good suggestions on how to improve your design. Some of Neal's attributes are: 1) excellent craftsmanship, 2) very good technical skills in carpentry, tile, painting, electrical and plumbing, 3) his assistants are clean cut and very respectful of your house and 4) we were very comfortable with Neal and his assistants working in our house. Neal has a simple contract. The contract has a detailed listing of the work to be performed by the re-modeler, a list of materials to be purchased respectively by the re-modeler and the owner, a contract price and a payment schedule. Neal is very fair about change orders and extras. You can probably get the best pricing if you contract for work to be performed in January and February, Neal's slow season. Of course, you have to plan ahead and sign the contract two months prior to the start of the job and order all the long lead time materials so that all the materials are available at the start of the job. Overall, we are delighted with our remodeled kitchen and half bath. We would heartily recommend that you consider Neal for your remodeling needs.
