Rentwell

Upon viewing their property at 111 N. Luzerne Ave.. In Baltimore,it seemed nice enough at first, but I noticed how dirty it was and how many holes and dirt were on the walls and really everywhere. I asked Rewntwell agent Wendy if the place would be cleaned, patched and painted before move in. She assured us YES! NO problem! The carpet in the basement was super smelly and damp and mildewed. She said that they would have no problem replacing it or doing any other repairs. When it was time to sign the lease these things had not been done. Upon reading the contract I noticed that it expressly said that these repairs would be our responsibility, so I called and asked Wendy if signing the contract would null and void the promises of the repairs after we signed. She said OH NO, it will only go into effect after we have made the repairs for you. Now we have no repairs that were promised (going on month 3), no Wendy, and James Gagnon saying he knows what was promised but they are not doing it. These people are liars and deceivers . Fortunately I have her promises in text and will be pursuing it in Court and with The State Attorney General Office. Rentwell is untruthful, not trustworthy, exercises deceptive and bad business practices. If they say they will do something for you, have EVERY WORD in writing. I would not bother to have a phone conversation with them as you need to document every word they say, because they will do the opposite. Note: This place ended up being so filthy it took a month to clean it just to the point that I was not afraid to touch surfaces like walls, handles etc.... Wish I could put up ALL of the pictures. Mind you James Gagnon told me that this place WAS cleaned before we moved in. The pictures are how it was when we moved in and taken during cleaning process. Do business with them at your own risk..
