The job was completed May 18, 2018. It went perfectly. I will use the words of Warren Buffet to describe the experience: "It is far better to buy a wonderful company at a fair price than a fair company at a wonderful price" Warren Buffet. My experience with Pikesville Remodeling is that I got the services of a wonderful contractor at a fair price. I have done work in my own home and have had contractors do work for me for years. I think that I am finally at the stage of my life that I can recognize quality and character - both of which were obvious in Ariel and his crew. Several outstanding things I found with Pikesville Remodeling. - Outstanding communications. Ariel communicated mostly by text messaging. I knew when he and his people would be arriving, what work they intended to complete during that day, what decisions I needed to make, suggestions for me to consider and next steps. - Excellent workmanship on all levels. The quality of all work performed was exceptional. The workers doing the work were extremely nice. The cleanup they did was beyond anything I had ever experienced from a contractor. - Adding suggestions that made a huge difference. During the job, Ariel suggested (among other things that I implemented) that I have the medicine cabinets inserted into the walls rather than attached to the walls. He also suggested that I not have a soap dish attached to the tiles but rather create an insert into the tiles for soap as well as for shampoo bottles. He showed me pictures of what it would look like. I told him to go ahead with that modification. It really did add to the looks of the project at a minimal cost increase. There is other work I need done in my home. I have already reached out to Pikesville Remodeling to get in their queue (yes, they are backlogged) so that we may begin that work in mid to late summer.

Ariel did the work as contracted, communicated frequently during the work and provided status. Work was professional and Ariel is great to work with. Would definitely use Ariel and his company for future repairs and remodeling work.

Ariel did a beautiful job replacing our kitchen backsplash. He was very professional and friendly and clearly cares a lot about doing a job the right way with a high level of professionalism. This includes with communicating and scheduling. Ariel was very responsive and punctual. The work was started and finished exactly when he said it would be. We wouldn't hesitate to hire Ariel again for work in our home.

Great! They did a wonderful job. I had a hard time finding people who knew what they were doing when it came to drop ceilings. We are very happy with the end result.

Impeccable craftsmanship. He was VERY responsive, giving me updates on materials, labor, and timing. I was VERY impressed. He takes the time to ensure the project is done right and the final price reflected the quote exactly - no overages. I strongly recommend him for your needs.

Ariel did an excellent job, I was very pleased with his work. He estimated it would take approximately 2 1/2 hours but he completed the job in 2 hours. He did a great job cleaning up after the job was complete.

Ariel was professional, precise, and diligent. We were very happy with his service and would certainly hire him again. He wasn't just focused on 'getting the job done' but rather getting it done in the best way possible. He hung up several heavy paintings for us, hooks, and a glass shelf. For each of these, he was careful that it was done very precisely and with the most sturdy and secure materials.

Went very well. Ariel and his drywall guy arrived, Ariel explained what was involved and how long it would take, left to let the guy work and returned when the work was being completed to help clean up and inspect the work done. Very happy with the work.

The work was excellent and done in just the right amount of time. The only thing that could've been better is that it was a $1000 over the original estimate.

I can't say strongly enough how much I appreciate that Ariel was willing to come out for this very small job and the excellent job he did. I originally spoke with him to get an estimate for a bathroom remodel (which I am still pursuing) and asked about the shingles while we were talking. One had fallen off and several others were loose. Ariel fit the work in between other jobs (and sequential days of rain), keeping me well informed as to scheduling. After the job was done he called to go over what was done and ensure I was happy with the work. I will definitely use Pikesville Remodeling again!

Ariel and his partner Luis showed up promptly. They did the job, which included preparing the ceiling (which was already partially demo'ed), putting in a large 5/8" drywall patch (>3 x 3 feet), taping etc. and painting with primer, within the day. In addition to the hole in the ceiling which they fixed, the jobs included repair of the wall (plaster) below the damaged part of the ceiling The work looks great and I am delighted. I definitely plan to work with Ariel in the future.

My family was interested in turning a basement powder room into a bathroom by adding a shower. We needed to install a tankless water heater in the adjoining utility room in order to make room for the shower. Ariel of Pikesville Remodeling managed to install the tankless water heater and build the new bathroom for a reasonable price. Because we needed to get a new gas meter installed for the tankless water heater and many permits, it ended up taking a lot more time than anyone expected, but Ariel always kept me informed as to the progress of the project. He and his crew were professional, hardworking, and interested in doing quality work. Ariel always went out of his way to help me stay in my budget. My family and I are delighted with the new bathroom, and we highly recommend Pikesville Remodeling.

Pikesville Remodeling is a licensed general contractor which provides first class service at reasonable, competitive rates. Ariel Goodman, its owner, is a hands-on GC who listens carefully, identifies appropriate solutions, makes helpful recommendations when the client can benefit from guidance, is responsive to requests, and is highly creative in his approach to solving the problems presented by novel building configurations that might stump less experienced GCs. Ariel rightly takes pride in providing first class service and he and hist staff don't cut corners in their commitment to provide quality service, and they are punctual and reliable and leave a clean workspace at the end of each day.
I could not be more pleased with Pikesville Remodeling's work and wholeheartedly recommend this company.

Everything was good. Ariel & Roberto were on time, Roberto worked quickly and well, having to do a more elaborate repair than first anticipated. The place was kept and left clean. There were no hassles. The repair looks good

.The quoting process was a bit odd, but they are a small company and don't have a lot of folks, so they asked me to take pictures with my phone and then asked me to e-mail them the pictures to estimate the work. I asked them to open up the closet, spray some anti-mold chemicals, and then replace the dry wall to ensure the house is in good shape.
Ariel quoted me a price of $500 and $150 for supplies. I agreed and asked him to get started. He told me he would let em know when they are available, since they are pretty booked and have only a few folks working, but told me he could fit us either the upcoming Sunday or the following Sunday. He then called and told me that he was actually on vacation starting the week after, and will be gone for two weeks, and told me he would call when h got back to see if they have some open time to fit us in. We then waited another week and a half, and I finally e-mailed Ariel and asked him what his schedule was, because we needed to repair flooring also, which I wanted to do after the drywall. He finally asked me what day would work, and he would be there ready to go. I told him to be there in 2 days, since I have some other work going on, and would be home. He said OK.
The day of, they (Ariel and Luis)arrived a little late (30 min), but Ariel called and told me they would be a little late, because the Home Depot lines were longer than expected. Once arriving they evaluated the work, laid down multiple tarps to protect the work area, and started opening the closet ceiling up. I chatted with Ariel, and gave me all the information i asked for, and even took a sample out of the walls to ensure no damage in the rest of the closet. Ariel then left, leaving Luis (who spoke very little English) to finish the work, since Ariel had work going on at another site, that he need to check on. Luis was very quiet, but did his work really well and very diligently. He sprayed the opening, installed the new drywall, and patched everything back up. He even painted everything and used a heat gun to accelerate the process, so that he can put all the coats on, and ensure everything was complete.
Ariel didn't come back to pick Luis up for a while, so Luis was there with my wife for about 45 minutes, but they took all the trash and tools with them, leaving nothing behind.
Overall it was a pretty good experience, once we were able to set a time for the work, but I understand they are a small company and have limited scheduling for such small projects. Overall quality was very good, and I was impressed with the work.
