Personal Electric scheduled a total of 3 visits to remove the knob & tube wiring from my attic. They did not show up for the first two visits. On the first scheduled visit (Friday, Aug 21) they called me 1.5 hours after they were supposed to be at my home asking to reschedule the appointment due to an "emergency." Fair enough. We rescheduled for Monday, August 24. On that morning they called 45 minutes before they were supposed to show up (at 11am) and said they would have to reschedule again because the job would require more time then the 5 hours they allotted for the work. We rescheduled for an 8 hour day on Wednesday, August 26. That day, two gentlemen showed up half an hour late and after going into the attic realized that they did not have the experience to do the job. This took them about 45 minutes to admit to themselves. So basically, my partner and I rearranged our busy schedules (we're both school teachers and school is about to start) for 3 days and got nothing for it. In fact, my mother was driving up from an hour south to sit at the house while I went to work. She was 10 minutes away when they told me the job wasn't actually happening. Effectively wasting her gas and precious time. Personal Electric agreed to do a $1000 job and then sent inexperienced electricians to attempt to perform the task. They succeeded in wasting a lot of my time. We have a tenant whom they also inconvenienced through their severe lack of professionalism (since the attic is accessed through her space). They didn't even apologize for these inconveniences, and it was on me to call numerous times just to get answers as to what was happening (or not happening as it were). Our contractor has three more days of home improvements scheduled next week that hinged upon Personal Electric doing the job they agreed they would do. Now those days will have to be rescheduled. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time with Personal Electric, if you do, it'll be likely they will waste yours without concern.
Description of Work: Nothing in terms of actual work; however, Personal Electric did manage to wasted many hours of my life and some money.
