Next Day Floors

I felt like I was really pressured to make a decision right there and then -- and I was clearly uncomfortable with making this decision. After sleeping on it, I decided this was not the right time to get luxury vinyl plank for so much $ and canceled the order. I have yet to receive the refund which was for 50% of the total price.

IT was ok. I had to tell them two or three to do something.

Great professional work. Great clean up and follow up for minor corrections.

Nick came out in a couple of days to provide an estimate. We had another provider out as well, but after several conversations, he didn't follow through. Nick's proposal was good. We placed a deposit and settled on a date about 10 days out. The crew arrived a bit late, but worked hard all day. They returned for about two hours the following day to complete the job. They were courteous and professional, and cleaned up carefully after the job. It looks great!

We recently purchased new carpet for our living room, dining room, hall and stairs from Next Day Floors located at 12 E. Ordnance Road in Glen Burnie Maryland 21060. After looking at and considering several different types and colors of carpet we purchased Mohawk's “SmartStrand”. SmartStrand is a relatively new type of carpet material and is said to be more durable, easier to clean and maintain than some older carpet materials. We dealt with Joe Clark, the store manager. He treated us with courtesy, respect, and patience. He took the time to discuss the variety of current carpet materials, weaves, padding and so forth. He did not pressure us in any way and gave us samples to bring home to view in our house. We believe that with his help we made an informed purchase. We were able to take advantage of a sale going on at the time of purchase and received a good deal. Once we made a decision on our carpet, we explained to Joe we would need some time to prepare our house for the installation. Again, we did not receive any pressure. We were allowed as much time as we needed. Once an installation date and time was set, the two man installation team of Elmer and Cleaver arrived on time and worked steadily. They were respectful to us, our furniture, and our house. They did an excellent job and the finished product looks terrific. We give high marks to Next Day Floors for their treatment of us during the sales process to the completion of the installation. We highly recommend them and would have no problem shopping with them in the future. Rick and Gail S.

As it should. They arrived on time. Installed carpet. and cleaned up after themselves. They get an A for doing their job. Their prices were better than the competition.

It went well. Very experienced installer.

Generally the installation was okay. However, I have contacted Next Day Floors REPEATEDLY to have them come out to address concerns arising out of the installation. Specifically, while the installers corrected creaking on the stair, they failed to address this elsewhere. I have called them repeatedly to have them address this problem satisfactorily. They have not returned my phone calls. I would NOT recommend Next Day Floors to anyone looking to install hardware floors. Poor customer service. I suppose they would call me quickly enough if I stopped paying the bill.

These guys were really great. They have been doing this job for many many years and know what they are doing. The salesmen were helpful in determining the differences between the carpets and giving us a good price, and the installers were fast, courteous and professional during the install, taking a lot of time and care to line up any seams and the pattern just right, as well as doing a very good job on the part you don't see--the install of the tack strips and carpet pad. We hope to enjoy the new carpet for years to come!

I'd give them a good grade. They did a good job. We didn't have any problem. They did move the furniture. They took out all the old carpet and padding. They installed the new. They did a good job. I didn't have any problems or issues or recalls. They were in a higher price range. It was high quality. Their responsiveness was very good. They arrived on time.

Amazing from start to finish. Sales person wanted to make sales unlike their other competitors who just gave us an off the cuff estimate didn't show us samples just didn't care. Installers showed up early this morning ready to go and never stopped. Spoke to us. Gave us options, moved furniture and overall nice people !! I would highly recommend Next Day Floor. Very good experience . Came in did a good job, left me with the overage, which i was fine with. I used them before they changed the name. I would use them again and recommend them.

I couldn't be happier with the results! Everything looks beautiful! The guys showed up on time and got it done in about 6 hours. They cleaned up after themselves. They were polite and worked efficiently all day. The price was very fair, in fact, less than the "discount" comparator.

I used the Annapolis office.  Greg was my salesman.  Greg was great.  He helped me with making the carpet selection and all the details.  The installers were great.

The sales person showed me flooring and we discussed what I wanted and what the company could do.? The sales person insisted that I was wrong and that the carpet in my condo was attached to concrete.? I had been told it was wood when I purchased it.?He was WRONG.?The flooring looks good, but now I don't know if there were other options.? Also, no mention was made that the carpet might be concealing cables for telephone or internet and that these were my problem.? I was told the job could be done in one day.? Later, I was called and told that not all of my flooring materials had arrived and I could wait or have all but one room done.? I had already emptied my china and removed all breakables, so I ask them to do as much as possible on the original date. The installers arrived 1 hour late with half a crew on May 9th.? They had materials for two thirds of the work, but could only do half of that.? They left a great deal of mess, including lots of staples from the previous flooring (I stepped on two before I started searching to pick up others that might injure my feet or the floors.? One of the workmen knocked a large photo off of the wall, breaking the glass and the frame, I also picked up glass after the workmen left.? I was told that frame would be replaced; it has not been replaced. The installers returned on the second day, with only two people. They completed all but the bedroom, and again left a lot of mess: sawdust, staples, cables running all over the floor and detached from the?walls,?plus a box of flooring and padding. The installers returned two weeks later to do the last room, thankfully there were no cables under the carpet and they did not remove the cables from where they were attached to the walls.? However, there was again a lot of sawdust and staples.? When they left, I discovered that they had not taken the leftover box of flooring and large roll of padding. On June 9th the cable company came to replace and reroute?the cables for the telephone and internet.? I was told that the cable could not run across an open doorway.? I called Next Day?Floors to request a different connector between the flooring and the tile in the kitchen that would cover the cables.? I was told, "We don't do that, but you can go to Home Depot and get something that will work" ?

Neil was friendly, efficient, and to the point. I barely dickered over price. Not a ton of paperwork either. The installation went perfectly. Very pleased with the end result.
