Excellent, quick, helpful, will use every time I move

The service provided by Mr. Givens' and his staff was beyond anything I expected from any moving company.  He and his staff of 6 arrived and promptly introduced themselves.  Mr. Givens then walked through the entire home and asked if I had any concerns, questions or items that would need special care.  As we were doing the walk through his staff began to bring in the moving blankets and other items they needed to wrap items to ensure nothing was damaged.  They carefully wrapped EACH and EVERY item in blankets and taped as necessary to ensure every item arrived at my new home without a scratch, dent or any breakage.   Nothing was damaged in the move.  They treated EVERY item in my home as if it were a national treasure being transported to the White House or some upscale gallery. 

I had lived in my home over 39 years prior to moving.  In addition, I was downsizing to a home half the size of the home I was moving out of which meant some of the items were being moved and other items were staying.  Mike and his staff took great care to check and recheck which items were being moved and which would be staying. Once they completed moving all of items from my home, Mike did a walk through with a member of my family to ensure nothing was overlooked or left behind by mistake.  

Upon arriving a my new home his staff unloaded the entire truck with the same level of care and service.  They unwrapped  and  placed  every item where I wanted it to go.  They reassembled the beds, dining room table and other items as necessary.  They arranged and rearranged the furniture until I was happy with the layout and location of each and every item. 

I would also like to note that I am handicapped senior with mobility issues.  Mike and his staff assisted me during the move to ensure I was able to see what was being done and my that things were being handled with care.  His staff assisted me in moving from one location to another the ensure things were being placed in the proper location in my new home. 

I would also like to note the following: Mike and his staff worked without break from the beginning until the job was completed (6 plus hours), not one cell phone was seen or went off during the entire move, not one staff member smoked inside or outside during the entire move, there was no loud talking or foul language being used, the entire staff addressed me and my entire family with the utmost respect, Mike's entire staff was dressed professionally,  Mike's truck and blankets were clean and neatly folded before and after the move, his staff cleaned up as they unpacked each item and took the trash with them and after the job was completed Mike went over the bill with me to ensure I understood what I was being charged for and to answer any questions or concerns I had about the move or the bill.  Finally, Mike thanked me selecting his company to assist me in my move.

Moving is never easy. Needless to say, I was worried about the move in general and how my things would fair.    Mike could not address my concerns regarding life changing event of moving from one neighborhood of friends to another neighborhood after 39 years.   However, if you are looking for "Baltimore's Best" in moving Mike's Moving and Storage is the only company you should consider.  You could not do a better job yourself.

Mike's crew was fantastic. It took a long time because it rained. They were expensive, but not considering how many people were working and the fact that it was raining and that they wrapped everything very carefully. I've used movers who do a rush job before, and the damage they do to your furniture and house makes up the difference in cost.

These guys are fabulous. They are smart, efficient, uniformed and very careful. I had a small storage locker with about 20 small, heavy boxes in it. I wanted to consolidate, so I rented a larger locker to hold the furniture and the boxes. I showed Mike the two spaces. He said he could save me money by fitting it all into the small, original locker. I was dubious, but he did it, very carefully stacking the furniture against the back wall of the locker, avoiding scratches. Plenty of room for the boxes at the front. I was impressed. I will definitely use them again.
