Mario is a great realtor. He made the home-buying process easy and smooth, he is friendly, responsive to emails, is willing to work with your schedule (and ours is TOUGH), is open to suggestions, and we felt he really understood what we were looking for while balancing the needs of myself and my husband (who each have our own taste in real estate.) He solicited feedback during the process to makes sure he understood what we were looking for. Turns out we didn't know ourselves, and that helped us understand it better! He also has a good idea of the Baltimore market and knows about up and coming properties and areas. I recommend him as a Realtor!

I worked with Mario to sell our home in Baltimore in 2015 and then, to purchase a home (listing for this review) in 2018. Mario is tremendously knowledgeable of and connected to the Baltimore community. And, he's got a sense of humor that makes the highs and lows of home buying enjoyable at every turn. So, work with him! The home we ultimately purchased was one that my wife and I had looked over and he suggested we view. It was only 60% completed at the time. He was familiar with the builder and the layout, pre construction. Without that insight, we might have still been looking or simply less thrilled with the purchase. He's also tremendously response via email and phone and partnered well with our mortgage company. All in all, an enthusiastic 10/10 experience for us.

Review of Realtor Mario Valone Mario was referred to me from a previous client when I decided to sell my rental property in Baltimore, Maryland in May of 2017. From the beginning I found Mario knowledgeable about the local market, thorough and very timely in his response to any of my questions or requests. He worked with my property management agent to gain access to the house so other contractors could complete their estimates while the tenants were still living on the premises. He priced the house correctly according to local market conditions. He provided net proceed analyses to allow me to determine the bottom line in different pricing scenario’s. When we went to contract, Mario provided online submissions to ease the paperwork. The house was ready to list in the time I specified. Mario went the extra mile to make sure the house was ready for sale. He treated the sale as though he was a surrogate owner. We had two competing buyers within the first week on the market. During the inspection we found out that the dining room floor had moisture damage. The buyer got cold feet and withdrew from the contract. This setback didn’t discourage Mario and with my direction we repaired the problem, and relisted the house for sale. He worked with the second buyer, and we went to contract and closed the deal in early December. This was a seven month process, and I applaud Mario for his tenacity in not wavering from his commitment to me and my need to sell the property as soon as possible. I had lived in Baltimore and moved back wanting to settle and buy a house. I knew exactly what I wanted and -I thought I was clear, and worked with several agents for several weeks. I was complaining to my sister and she refered me to Mario. We spoke and the next day he showed me 3 houses-all which were perfect and an hour later I had my house. 2 years later I wanted an investment house and 2 days and 4 hours I had the perfect rental. My finances are very complicated and I tend to be very hard to work with- time and travel constraints- and have had real issues getting through the financing and mortgage process; and have lost several houses due to that fact.... But Mario put his boots, hard hat and rolled up his sleeves and basically did a lot of heavy hauling both times to make the deals happen

We found Mario by his reviews and I was a bit skeptical because they were so overwhelmingly positive. But Mario lived up to the hype on every count! We were relatively new to Baltimore and he showed us houses in a variety of neighborhoods (and gave us a brief tour/overview of the neighborhood) until we found a neighborhood that felt like the right fit. Mario served as our selling agent for our Baltimore City property.  I found him on Angie's List after seeking the services of other agents who I found through word of mouth.  Unlike the other agents I contacted, he was very responsive and professional.  He was very knowledgeable of the local market and gave us his professional opinion regarding the market listing price  along with a market analysis to back it up.  Mario also did not pressure us to list the property quickly, considering it was winter and the weather was not optional for property sales.  We opted to wait until March 1st to list.  We received an all cash offer for full asking price within 2 weeks of listing and closed within another 2-3 weeks after.  I would highly recommend the hiring of Mario as your real estate agent!

Mario helped me purchase a home this year.  I'd tried another realtor
before finding Mario, but that realtor didn't seem interested in really
helping to find a house that was a good fit for me.  I then met Mario
and was immediately confident he'd go above and beyond to help me in my
house search.  He was extremely helpful and patient throughout the
entire process. I asked to see many homes - some that didn't exactly
meet the requirements I'd given to Mario when we began the search. He
made a point to remember all of the things that I was looking for in a
home, and would always provide helpful information and guidance if I was
undecided about a certain house, or if I'd request to see a house that
didn't exactly fit my own requirements. I did finally find a house and
extended an offer which was accepted. Unfortunately, the seller ran into
some title issues and the sale didn't go through. Mario immediately
began helping me to find another new home and very quickly we found the
house that I live in today. I can't thank him enough for his patience

Mario helped me buy a home in Canton. Being a first time homebuyer was overwhelming, but Mario made the process as simple and easy as possible. He worked with me, looking at a lot of houses, and stuck with me for several months until I found the right house. Mario was fantastic! I'm in the military and stationed in Texas, so my wife and I were not able to visit Baltimore before buying the house. We were comfortable buying without seeing it in person because Mario went above and beyond what was required.
He took walk-through videos of the houses we were considering, answered any questions we had, and would go back and take more videos or pictures if we needed more info.
