Tim Cooke listened to my needs and came up with an excellent design, sized to meet growing future needs such as EV charging. I obtained estimates from numerous companies. Not only did Lumina come highly recommended by friends and neighbors, their unit price per kW was the best. Install went very smoothly and the system is doing very well.

It started with a phone call with Christopher Richardson who was the Project Manager/Sales Consultant. I asked a lot of questions but he guided me thru them all along with prep tasks I needed to do first. He was always responsive, patient and very knowledgeable as well as honest. Once my property was ready for installation, things went like a NASA space launch will perfect coordination of tasks with Lumina staff, third party inspectors, utilities and permitting. The finished product is world class in terms of workmanship, quality and sophistication. The panels are so unobtrusive and complimentary to the structures. I could not imagine any other firm having all of these attributes. We are making power and it is very exciting. Power to the people is a reality thanks to Lumina.

I am 100% impressed and amazed by every single aspect of the process of buying a solar system for my home: from inquiry, system design, site inspection, permitting, installation, wiring, and wifi configuration of my Lumina Solar installation. This company has figured out every single step along the path of adding a solar system to your home. Obviously, someone at Lumina Solar has a strong handle on the business processes and workflow of a big job like solar installs. I designed my own passive solar home many years ago with a roof designed for solar panels. I have been inquiring about this seriously over the past 5 years. This year I noticed some large solar installs on homes near us in Harleysville, PA, USA. When I asked these homeowners who did these installs, they told me about how pleased they were with Lumina Solar. So this summer, 2023, I started into this project once again, this being at least my 10th time talking to solar companies.  From the very first meeting online with Christopher Richardson <crichardson@luminasolar.com> I was totally impressed. With my background in architecture and building, I was really interested in the process and the use of the GEO mapping software he used to lay out my panels. With Christopher, we were able to design a system that met our electrical usage based on my past two years of power consumption. After a few layouts and projections of power generation based on geo specs and roof angles and roof azimuth, Christopher was able to project the performance of the system. At that moment, I was really sold on working with Lumina Solar, little did I know that all the many steps to follow would go just as well as this first process if not better. After the final layout and design, the installation day was set, and of course, I had concerns. All my concerns were erased from the first arrival of the installation teams, The roofers, assistants, and electrician teams all gathered up at my home right on time. They went over the installation plans, looked over the site, and immediately set up the various jobs sites. Each team went over the job site with me and the electricians set up shop at the basement panel and the outside electrical feed. The roofing team set up shop out back and pre-loaded all the panels, cabling, and systems needed for the solar panel roof installation.  The installation went perfectly. The electrical work was SUPERB, By late in the afternoon, the entire system of 18 panels was configured and evaluated. The next day, I received emails from Lumina Solar informing me of the next steps towards PTO, permission to operate, and sending my power into the electrical grid. Once we receive that we will be fully operational. The steps to installing solar are many, and every single step is fully known and executed well by this company! The bottom line. Lumina Solar is one incredible company with every single process of their Solar Business fully figured out and mapped out. I couldnâ t be happier. Courtney was just super. She walked me through every phase of the process. She answered all of my questions and concerns. They inspected my roof inside and out before they gave me the thumbs up for installation. Contracts can be confusing but Courtney explained and walked me through every area I had questions on including maintenance and warranty service. The installers were courteous and professional. It only took less then a day to install all of my panels (23) and to hook everything up. They showed me the hookups and how it works. My system passed both inspections and Iâ m now up and running on solar.. Now I just sit back and enjoy the savings not just in the electric bill but on our environment as well. Go green. Lumina provided us one of the most competitive prices we could find for the specs, with an impressive warranty and, most importantly, superb customer service from top to bottom. We worked with Andrew Cimino as our project manager, but had a full team of support along the way: Caitlin, Bethany, Brooke, Cara, and Spencer all were part of the process while always feeling like they were unified. We met with a lot of solar contractors before deciding to move forward with Lumina, and the #1 reason we didn't move forward with those options was because the customer service was obviously lacking from step one. Lumina's communications, guides, response times, project plans, checklists, etc. were all perfection, and that made the difference, and I'm glad that we made this choice, and I would recommend the Lumina team to anyone who was interested.

Lumina Solar and Andrew where spectacular from day one. He impressed me enough that I went with Lumina over another vendor which was rated almost as high as Lumina. Not only that, their use of technology is impressive and lays out everything for you, from the amount of Sun you generally get etc... Finally, one of the most impressive things throughout aside from professionalism, and communication, is their willingness to recommend what is RIGHT for you, and NOT what would make them more money, and in this day and age, that is as unique as it gets. The process was smooth, almost effortless. We even went through them for a roof replacement which wasn't something they tried to upsell for us. American Home Contractors, the roof installers that work fully through Lumina where also amazing.

Lumina Solar was a great company to work with. I am the kind of person that does a lot of research and was constantly asking questions about the products, options and process. They took their time answering and never made me feel like it was a rush sales job. Andrew was very patient with me as I waffled on the battery /no battery part. The installers were great and very personable. Many times you get that "leave me alone feeling" from people doing the actual install but not these guys. I would go watch was going on for a bit and ask questions and then come back later for more knowledge. They were very patient and professional. Overall the process from start to finish has been easy, timely and friendly. The people at the company have been in the industry for a long time and seen the good and bad that comes with some other shady companies. They seem to take that to heart and really try to provide next level service. If I ever relocate to a new home without solar, they will be one of my first calls at the new house.

Lumina was excellent from beginning to end. I worked w/Phil who helped with specing out the solar system and pricing. He kept me informed of the Solar Incentive/interest rate changes as it happened. Answered all my questions quickly and was available by email or phone whenever I had questions. Lumina did all the work from reaching out to the power company to scheduling permits with the township. Scheduling was easy. The installers did great work and were respectful of my property and home. They answered all my questions/concerns and did a good job on the installation especially with hiding the power line run from the panels back to the meter. Great work overall -highly recommend!

Having reached out to several solar companies, it was almost absurd how much more thorough throughout not only the first call, but the initial site visit, Lumina was than the others. The above and beyond effort extended through the entire process until the job was done and the panels were turned on. All questions, which I had many, were answered timely if not immediately. Even during the county inspections, a Lumina representative was there to talk with the county inspector and not leave that on me to shrug at them. Aces across the board.

Solar Lumnia provided quality and attentive service for our 37 panel solar project. Everyone from Courtney, our Design Consultant, to the site inspectors, installers, business office and everyone we interfaced with were very respectful to us and our home. They each told us what they would be doing, asked if we had any questions, and reviewed what had been accomplished each. Communication were top notch and timely. There were no delays on Lumina's part and our solar system was completed ahead of the expected completion date. I would highly recommend Solar Lumina for a solar solution!

Was generally pleased with the pricing, service, and responsiveness of the Lumina team, especially the project manager Andrew Cimino. The staff were all respectful and courteous and took time to explain what was going on and what to expect. The project took a bit longer than expected and there were a few hiccups/oversights during startup that eventually got resolved, but overall was pleased with the team. Would definitely recommend them for others to consider!

I highly recommend Lumina Solar. They are a complete, one stop solar solution. Making the transition to solar can be a daunting endeavor and a huge investment. Lumina Solar and more specifically Christopher Richardson made my transition to solar a fantastic and rewarding experience. I have the highest confidence in my rooftop system and am extremely satisfied with my investment. Lumina is a top notch organization. I decided to transition to solar for several reasons. I liked the idea of making and using my own electricity. More independence from the power company was a huge motivator. But the numbers had to work. Starting with a detailed estimate and quote, to on-site inspections and installation of the hardware, they were professional throughout the entire process. They handled all the permits and the gritty stuff. We've been enjoying the benefits of solar for over a month now. We also have two Enphase batteries to store extra energy for standby use. I had an excellent experince with Lumina Solar. Perhaps the most important feature of their service is the primary contact person for your project. I worked with Kurt Bradshaw for this and he was excellent. He told me everything I needed to know, when I needed it, and explained complex issues in a way I could understand. He rewponded quickly to every email or call and answered all of my questions. Every person I had contact with - the designer, installers, the electricians, the guy who came for the inspections - was pleasant, willing, and able to explain everything they were doing and what to expect. All arrived when they said they would. I looked at the Solar Lumina website and was impressed by the diversity of staff, including many women at all levels. There are lots of entities involved besides Lumina Solar. They coordinate with the installers, designers, extra services like critter guard installers, the solar credit counters, the local inspectors, and the finance provider. It can be overwhelming, but Lumina Solar handled it all with ease and grace. You never need to worry. I'm glad they found me. I wish more businesses were this competent.
