  Took months longer than agreed to, multiple no call no shows, cut my roof rafter and did not tell me (had to find the damage myself), installed different panels than agreed to, did not setup when finished- told me to contact manufacturer, and so many more failures

  This partial remodel of a high-end rental house went very well and per schedule. Most days Greg had 2 or 3 B&W guys at the house, and he regularly visited the job to solve things that cropped up. Communication was very good; prompt response to phone calls from the customer. Plumbing and hardwood floors were subcontracted to capable subs. Response to changes originated by the Customer was likewise good, and at a fair price. This was the third project we have done with Black & White over the past 2-3 years, being repeat customers due to B&W quality, customer service and integrity.   We shopped around for solar screens for the exterior of our house. We called them and they gave us a courtesy call when they would be coming out to measure and when we placed the order we were told it would take 7-10 business days for install, however they were out in days installing the screens. Talk about FAST! We love the screens and will be looking at purchasing other products they offer for windows in the futureshow more

  I was very satisfied with Accent Windows and would recommend this company to others. I dealt with Kim at the office and Stephen was the guy who measured and installed our screens. Kim was extremely nice and helpful and Stephen was great as well. I wasn't sure which frames would look the best, so Kim offered for me to take several framed screens to the house so I could compare them. I ended up bringing her pictures of the windows on the house, and she made a recommendation. She was right, and the screens look great on the house.   Lane Hathorn is the owner of the business and he is very straightforward and professional. He gave his best price on his initial bid while other bids I received were quick to reduce their price when told their price was higher. I really liked this as it made me feel he was being completely honest with me. His crew consisted of four men besides himself who were all very experienced and capable as well as being very polite. courteous and hard working. The job took a total of 4 1/2 days and the crew arrived on time and ready to go to work each morning although they had to drive from Rosenberg to Kingwood and back daily. I regularly checked the progress and was completely satisfied with everything they did. I would not hesitate to recommend Hathorn Repair to any of my friends and neighbors. I would definitely call them again if I have any other jobs to doshow more

  Installation was done quickly and effectively. However, there was a definite "bait and switch" in that the original price quoted was for LG360 panels, but at installation time "only LG335 are available ... we can add a couple to bring you up to the quoted power level ... but at the same price quoted for LG360." Since then, the company has been entirely unresponsive, not returning calls and not taking care of basic service issues. I need to update the cellular card in the system (no longer supported by TMobile), they will not call back about this. I want to add battery backup, but again, they will not call back. I would absolutely not utilize the services of this company againshow more
