KEVIN'S MOVING COMPANY

Not good. Kevin (the owner) arrived 15 minutes late. He walked through my apartment & then asked how much, he was supposed to charge me. Then he presents me with this memo and has me fill in the blanks for my name the price of the fee and the date. It stated payment was to me in the form of cash only. This was news to me, because when I scheduled the appointment, nothing was said about cash. It took about two hours to load it all. Then they left for my house, about an hours drive away. Two & half hours later they call for directions, which I offered before they left, but which they refused. When they got there they unloaded, during which they dropped my cedar chest and broke the leg off. My brand new dining room table, which had been in mint condition, before they moved it, was scratched deeply & had rub marks in several places. When I asked Kevin about recompense for the damages, he said that he lied & said they hadn't damaged anything and refused to pay for them. I'm filing with BBB.

This was a really good moving experience - and they can be awful. Kevin was 15 minutes late, but his wife called in advance to let me know. Most people would not bother for such a short period of time. The guys on his team worked very hard. They were very polite and the furniture and the walls in both houses were in great shape. They were also very patient with me when I moved furniture around within in rooms and in one instance from room to room. They were great.

THEY WERE PUNCTUAL, IF THEY SAY THEY ARE GOING TO BE THERE THEY ARE THERE. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND VERY CAREFUL WITH MY SONS THINGS, I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS.
