Wonderfully well. Jay designed the first two baths. He was also able to bring me a contractor to do the work. The bid was competitive/less with the other I got based on Jay's designs. The work turned out so well, I had Jay design the master bath too, using the same contractor. Further, Jay helped me choose new tiles for the entry way, new doors, and colors for an interior repaint. As I got to know him and his work, I just kept turning to him for advice. He is pleasant, responsive and easy to work with. I thought his rates were very reasonable. With my job, he worked by the hour which if I remember correctly was $150 per. He doesn't charge for travel time. I am happy with my newly redone home.

Jay is wonderful to work with. He is professional in every way. His talents and abilities far exceed any designer we know. We highly recommend Jay!

Wonderfully! We first met Jay almost seventeen years ago and were so pleased that he wanted to work with us. Starting with the entryway, front room, and dining room, we then moved to the kitchen, living room, refreshing the front of the house, then on to upstairs, bedrooms and bathrooms, and then finishing off the basement and getting a new deck and patio. And what we ended up with is amazing! Neighbors who see the inside for the first time marvel at how it looks so chic, yet also so like us! And Jay is always easy to work with. He simplifies the process for you and knows how to get the overall freshness that you're looking for. In other words, he is fantastic at translating your somewhat vague vision of what you want into reality; and a reality that says WOW. It looks great, and you can actually LIVE in it, too; functional and lasting. After all these years, we wouldn't think of asking anyone else for help!

Jay was fantastic. Listens and is open to new ideas. Carefully explains the reasons for his plan and why he recommends certain elements should or should not be included. Jay will save you money by keeping you from making mistakes. Jay will do the thought and work and let you choose from the top choices. Jay has a thoughtful , rational reason for all of his recommendations.. Jay will ask you for your budget and will keep you within your budget. Jay is highly recommended.

Jay is the ultimate professional, responsive and punctual and has incredible design and decorating skills. I have lots of design ideas and, what I love best about Jay, is that he helps me refine my ideas, adds his expertise and the finished product is always better than I ever hoped! He makes sure he understands the look and vibe and always finds great pieces to finish the space with details that wow me! I have worked with Jay for about 20 years and counting!

Very good in all cases. With our new office work he helped pick all finishes and furniture it it turned out great. For our residential properties he has helped with individual rooms and they've turned out beautiful. Jay is a good listener and really works with you to get it right. We have worked with him for over ten years and will continue to use his services. I recommend him without hesitation.

Excellent! I have one of those quirky homes that can be difficult. Jay’s expertise helped us decorate our home so it is both functional as well as beautifully appointed!

We purchased a house that was built in the 1980s. Jay redesigned the entire 1st level that opened up a lot of space and made the home very modern. The previous owner didn't even recognize the home when she visited us after the remodeling. We love Jay's works, and we will definitely hire him to do other work when the time comes.

We were building a custom house and needed somebody to help us with design and somebody to bounce ideas of.  We have used Jay through out our building process, all the way from building plans, like electrical & furniture, to picking options.
Jay has been the consummate professional and his artistic ideas are excellent.  His quality and attention to detail has been quite spectacular.  We have been very pleased with his work and continue to use him on an ongoing basis.  His workmanship and artistic talents are excellent.  He has steered us away from some major design blunders and has done so without being too pushy. HIs major attribute is his adaptation to clients taste and preferences, and for working within those boundaries.  Always on time and very responsive.  Going through a home building project which sometimes tends to be very frustrating dealing with contractors and builders, it is very refreshing to see people focused on customer service and delivering a quality product.

Hiring Jay Dillinger to assist us designing the interior of our new custom home was one of the best decisions we could have made. I wouldn't dream of decorating a new home, or re-decorating an existing home without Jay. A good interior designer doesn't cost a penny. A good designer, like Jay Dillinger, will save you money, in terms of costly mistakes not made. I shutter when I think of some of my initial ideas and selections that Jay later dissuaded me from pursuing. Each purchase I made against Jay's advice is now sitting in the attic.What I must appreciate about Jay is his ability to listen to what we wanted. Unlike some other designers we spoke with, Jay talked less about himself, and asked more about us and our lifestyle. He respected our budget, exceeded our expectations, while making the process fun. Jay helped make our home a work of art. When we do it again, we would't consider anyone else, even if we had to wait in line. 

It doesn't matter if you are decorating home, small or large, a good decorator will more than pay for themselves. It is money well spent.
