We hired Guardian Security to install cc cameras in our home. We opted out of the traditional alarm system as I work exclusively from home and my wife works from home 2 days a week.
After obtaining quotes from a few companies, we decided to go with Guardian based on their very competitive pricing, stellar Angie?s list reviews, and outstanding references. We were completely thrilled with the installation and equipment. The installers were clean professional and very unintrusive as we were working from home that day. All work was completed by day?s end and I received a full ?training session? on the use of the system prior to their departure. They even provided a remote app for my iPhone where I can monitor our home anywhere in the world!
We would definitely recommend Guardian Security to anyone considering cc cameras.
When it comes to service, I give them not only an A, but an A+++. The only reason I would downgrade them is that the equipment they installed in my home isn't as fancy as some of the touchscreen, wireless, fancy machinery you can get from other companies. However, it does match with what was already installed from the previous owner.
When David came to install the system, he was right on time, was respectful of our time and our home, and put the extra effort into making the security system blend with our 1940's home. He even checked to make sure all the pieces of the ADT system they were going to co-op into their system were working correctly, and took the time to explain how to work the system instead of just leaving us with an instruction manual and booking it out of there.
UPDATE: I've downgraded them from a A to a C. We were having issues with an 'FC' code on our touch pad (there was no communication between our system and the monitoring center--basically, the system became mostly decorative). I spent a month going back and forth with JR, trying to get it to reset (all the while it hasn't worked), until finally he told us it would be more reliable if we were to install a cell responder in the system for an additional charge. If that's not a racket, I don't know what is. Anyway, because we still have another 2 1/2 years on this contract (which is a long time to pay for something that doesn't work), we decided to get it installed. I called him back on April 7 to say yes, we wanted to install this piece. He told me that he should be able to get someone in to install it early the next week. It is now May 5, and not only is it not installed (and my system now hasn't worked for 2+months), it's like pulling teeth to get him on the line to even talk to him. When I finally do, it's all "I'm so sorry, I'll have someone out as soon as possible," but nothing ever comes from it. The last time he actually sent someone out, they came with the wrong piece. At this point, I'm done. No more Mrs. Nice Girl. In wish we could get out of the contract and get our system monitored by a company that actually values its customers. The only reason this company doesn't get an F is because they were well priced, but since I'm not getting the service I paid for, I guess that's somewhat moot.
I'll update again when (if) this is ever resolved.
