We hired for a free "look" at the situation and did a (paid) test. The test came out normal so remediation wasn't necessary...other than a little muscle and a scrub brush on my part. But good advice and no hard pressure.

We specifically wanted mold testing to determine where mold was located in our home in response to an ERMI test which was performed at the suggestion of our doctor. The results we got back did not even address the specific molds on the ERMI report which were the most problematic, thus rendering the test all but worthless for our purposes. The contractor did take time, after the fact, to explain the differences between an air test (which he performed) and the ERMI, but I really wanted clarification of the ERMI, and will now have to hire yet another contractor.

"Thank you for the opportunity and it's unfortunate that I was not able to convince you about the accuracy of the testing we performed. When we had our 30 minute conversation PRIOR to you hiring us to come out to perform the test, everything you listed in your review I explained in detail to both you and your husband. I explained that there is no test that will specifically address the results of an ERMI test and that an air test for mold is a 'standard' practice that does not differ from company to company and that it can only report on the types of mold that are detected at the time of the test. I was very explicit in explaining that both BEFORE and after the testing was completed. I also explained PRIOR coming out to the property what ERMI testing is and why it is frowned upon in our industry and how it does NOT provide a clear determination about mold and the air quality inside a home. There is no air test available to test a home the way you assumed (and continue to assume) it would be performed and again, we had a very specific conversation about all of this leading up to our appointment, so I'm extremely surprised and disappointed to hear these assumptions yet again. Had you explained during our first conversation that you didn't believe me regarding how the testing works, I would have politely declined the opportunity to specifically avoid this current situation. We provided the exact service you paid us for. We weren't hired to 'clarify the ERMI test'. We were hired to perform an air quality test for mold and that's exactly what we did. Your test results were 'Normal' and that was a good thing that we assumed you'd be happy with but unfortunately, there is misinformation that you are still holding onto and I'm sorry I wasn't able to convince you that the services we performed were accurate. I truly did try my best and I actually thought I did during our last conversation but I see that's not the case. Thank you for the 5 stars in customer service and if there is another way you think we might be able to assist you in better understanding all of this, please don't hesitate to reach out! Thanks"

Jason is very responsive and knowledgeable about mold remediation. he patiently explained each step of the process to me so that I understood the order and reason for doing things. he was open to doing additional services because it brought me peace of mind. his crew was hard working and respectful, they all wore face masks; they arrived on time, were focused on the task and cleaned up after themselves.
