They charged $2.50 a square foot. The going rate is $1.99 a square foot. The reason I went with them, despite the higher price, is because he told me they could finish the job that day. They did not finish the job that day. It took them a week to finish the job. They did not put down a vapor barrier, even though I told them to. I had to buy six more boxes of flooring because they were chipping the wood when they were installing it. The owner got in a shouting match with me over the phone when I complained. One of the workers was telling me how he was in prison. They were not professional at all. It was a very bad experience. I would never use them again or recommend them to everything. The owner presents himself well in the beginning. After the initial meeting with the owner it was a total nightmare.
