About us

EnergyReady weatherizes existing residential buildings to create living spaces that are more energy efficient, affordable, safe, and more comfortable. EnergyReady also applies Cool Roofs, an Energy Star approved white roofing system that lasts longer than traditional tar roofing and deflects the sun’s heat. A Cool Roof does not require the disposal of the old tar roof and it significantly reduces heat transfer to the interior of the building, reducing summertime energy demand. We do not subcontract our work except when encountering electrical or plumbing issues that we are not licensed to address. Call us for a free estimate!

After a energy audit was completed, I contracted with the company to do insulation upgrades suggested as result of the audit. The crew was 1.5 hours late for start of project since "Mapquest" took them a long route. When the crew came to the house, they informed me they could not do the main proposed scope of work. They did some of the other work proposed sloppily/incompletely. The foreman had no control over the work crew and appeared to have little knowledge. The company was contacted as to alternative methods to complete the work, they were unable to propose a suitable solution- likely since they had another "big job" coming up. The secretary was abrasive and pushy. Overall, the company does not seem professional or competent.
