Cabinet Making
Well the phrase "you get what you pay for" really applies here.
First the good: crazy low price. VERY GOOD electrician and plumber were sub contracted and whom I would hire again. Honestly that's it.
THE BAD: crazy low price (shame on us for not spending more), project started before Christmas and not finished, NEVER showed up on time except for first night to pitch deal, terrible workmanship (I have spent 2 weeks fixing sheetrock, cabinets and had to pay someone else to install backsplash, I actually tore his work down (subway tile should be straight, right) same day. He still owes us stuff but at this point why bother. I estimate we have spent in my time, hiring professionals and rebutting materials about $2,000.
So the moral is our kitchen looks good from afar good because I respackled the ceiling, retouched and reattached cabinet parts and hired professionals to install back splash and install range hood. Upon closer inspection the quality of work is actually horrible! I will be repairing and fixing for the rest of the time we live here.
