I had a oriental rug that a cat urinated on, and it was really beyond redemption. They could have just cleaned the rug as I asked and charged me an arm and a leg, but they told me that it really wasn't worth it. He showed me some beautiful used Persians that were extremely reasonable, and let me take it home to try it out. What I paid for it would probably have been slightly more that what it would have cost to clean and repair it. I wish I found this place years ago! Mr. Dulkerian and his staff were extremely personable and knowledgeable. Would definitely use them again.

Obviously, it didn't "go" at all.

The rug had suffered our elderly dog's loss of continence and needed professional help. I was thrilled at the result. This was a couple of years ago so I am guessing at the price but I remember it had been hard to find anyone who could do the job the way they did, no less at a price I could pay. The rug can back looking and smelling new. They were very nice and did a great job. Highly recommend them.

It went great. It was $4 more than the estimate, but they cleaned them twice and they were ready when estimated. The rugs look like they are brand new.

It was a straight forward, easy process and I was thrilled. Very nice people to work with. I called, they picked up rug. I then spoke on the phone about the process and decided to also buy a new underpad for the rug. Within about 2 week time, they called to arrange delivery time and I got the rug back shortly thereafter.

I had several Karastan oriental-style rugs bequeathed to me and they had been boxed and shipped several months ago. I needed some expert advice on how to handle them, and needed them prepared for use in a new house. The folks at Dulkerian's were just a dream.. They scheduled a pickup promptly, were punctual in keeping that appointment, and were extremely clear in their dealings with us. They cleaned and stored the rugs til we took possession of our new house, then, again, were extremely responsive to our call telling them that we were ready for the carpets. They were punctual in delivering the rugs, laid them exactly where I wanted them to be, took great pains to tell me what they'd found in their cleaning and handling of the rugs (spots where they were worn and where they'd been repaired) and answered all the questions I asked and more. The owner of the business (3rd generation - they've been in business since the early 1900s) handled our case and it's clear that he and his entire staff just know oriental rugs (and rugs in general) cold. I feel fortunate to live in an area that has such a fabulous resource.

The experience was excellent and the rug looks beautiful. It actually had to be washed twice and deodorized, but the company honored its initial estimate, which was more than reasonable. Service includes picking up and bringing back the carpet(s) at no additional cost. I am just planning on sending another carpet to Dulkerian's for washing. Very highly recommended to anyone who values wool carpets, especially older ones.

This is the second time we have used Dulkerians for cleaning our rugs. They actually washed the rugs, not steam or chemical clean (processes which were not recommended by the manufacturer.) They are very courteous, easy to schedule, have a quick turnaround and do an excellent job. I plan to use them again and again and would recommend them highly.
