Scheduled quickly, were flexible to work with, and great value. They understood exactly what I needed and was looking for, made recommendations along the way and came in at the best price. Will definitely be working with them again!

I am documenting this review as of 1/4/2024. Firstly, I want to acknowledge my direct collaboration with Darius regarding the replacement of my roof. He demonstrated exceptional customer service, friendliness, and responsiveness throughout the process especially with my questions. However, I'm compelled to rate this business with two stars due to significant issues encountered, primarily linked to poor communication regarding hidden fees and change orders. Initially quoted $2,475.00 for the entire roof replacement, I encountered unexpected hurdles when the crew arrived for the job. They claimed the wood on the roof needed replacing, and an unnamed individual, reachable at [Private Number Removed], mentioned needing 5/6 pieces of plywood from Home Depot. When specifically asked about additional costs, this person assured us there would be none. Crucially, we were neither shown the damaged plywood nor gave explicit approval for the additional work. This individual proceeded without consulting Darius or any supervisor, and the subsequent bill reflected a $640.00 increase for the plywood. Upon addressing this discrepancy with Darius, he mentioned a retrospective discount, which doesn't align with the original quote, comparable to others in the field. Despite multiple discussions, only a nominal $64.00 discount was offered, creating a frustrating back-and-forth situation. Darius also attributed the misunderstanding to advising us to contact the estimator, which was not true, creating a 'he said/she said' scenario and of course since he was not there, he would believe his crew member, who spoke little to no English. My experience with Darius was positive, but the overall company lacks crucial elements: communication, professionalism, and integrity. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this company due to these issues. Being unexpectedly charged $600.00 for damage we never saw feels unjust, emphasizing the company's lack of transparency and professionalism. I urge caution regarding hidden fees, change orders, and professionalism when considering this company. Make sure you record all conversations, especially with the workers who arrive at your home. Despite Darius's commendable efforts, the experience with the company, particularly the undisclosed charges, was a considerable disappointment.

Project went very well. I have a row house in Baltimore county and had my roof replaced in 2023. Responsiveness from my initial inquiry was very prompt, and they come over quickly to assess the job and provide a quote, including reviewing cost and benefits of the different levels of warranty. When I had questions about a couple of clauses in the contract, they were kind enough to arrange a call with a manager so we could talk them through. They then scheduled the work promptly and were done in one day. Crew was clean and efficient. There was no sign that they were there that day except for the pictures of the new roof they sent me; everything was clean, all debris and materials removed, etc. Previous issues I had with intermittent leaking during heavy storms has been eliminated.

Charm City Roofing was fantastic from start to finish. Estimators were thorough, fair, and honest, and the job went according to plan.

They did very well. They went beyond what they were supposed to do. They fixed a couple other things while they were up there, that they really didnt have to do.

The crew came when scheduled, worked hard all day and got the job done efficiently. We were satisfied with their work. If there was a B+, that is what I would rate my experience.

The job was accomplished a day ahead of schedule and at a $200 million cost lower that the price I was quoted. It went so well when the larger roof needed repairs, Charm City got my business again.

Roger was very responsive and easy to work with! The guys showed up on time answered any questions we had and got the work done quickly and well. Our new roof looks great and in all the big rain storms recently it has stayed dried. We have no more leaks and would definitely suggest working with Charm City Roofing for any roofing and siding needs. Thank you Roger for all the help in getting our leaking issues repaired.

They did an excellent job! Were on time, and did awesome clean up when done. Roger explained everything in detail and was very professional. I would highly recommend this company for any kind of roofing and gutter work!

Estimator came out with a drone to look at condition of the roof. Gave us 3 different options for roof replacement. We choose the middle price option. Big crew came out and did the work quickly and neatly. The price they quoted us was half of what other contractor wanted.

Crew worked hard throughout a very hot day and into dusk to complete the work in one day. Cleaned up well throughout and at the end of the project. Highly recommend and would hire again.

The only problem was waiting for the seeming constant rain to stop so they could go to work. The roofing was completed in one day & the job was well done.

I do not know the price as my husband took care of it. I think the thing was they came out and they had three crews working and they came out and got it done. The guys that worked on roof worked very hard. They did there job. We did have a problem afterwards but that may have existed beforehand but they are coming back to look at it. They had replaced rotted boards and fixed some leaking from the gutters by replacing them. They're responsive, there is a lot of phone tag but they always call back. But in today's world things are different than what they were long time ago. They were on top of it. They came when they said they were going to. They worked right thru and they worked hard. We never got another estimate from anyone else we just went with them.

No response from contractor

I met with the owner (Roger Bush) who went over the services they offered and how the entire installation process would be. I decided to go with replacement of the gutters on the front porch and addition, 50 year shingles on the roof, and the installation of a ridge vent. He indicated that they could schedule the roof replacement later that week. On the day of the install they showed up on time, performed the work as described (which included removing the old roof and installing the new one) and then did an excellent job of cleaning up. All work was performed in one day as promised. The new roof and gutters look excellent and I would definitely use them again.
