Amazing! They were so helpful and professional moving our very heavy and cumbersome furniture up narrow flights up stairs and around difficult to maneuver corners... really great team, excellent service.

My movers were unaware of any unpleasantries or damage on this move. They felt she was happy with them but it seems apparent she was not. 4 strong yet careful guys moved everything effectively to an outdoor storage unit, and came back 19 days later to move each item back to its correct location. Showed great flexibility when a few things wouldn't fit in the 'pod' and moved them to another area of the house, instead. Before the move, an expert packer wrapped all of the delicate glassware and other items, and gently packed them into boxes to be stored elsewhere in the house during renovations. A small team returned after the move-back, to help reassemble a recliner (a loose bolt had gotten dislodged during the move) and entertainment unit. Their chief even gave helpful advice on where to get replacement handles for cabinet drawers which had lost their handles long ago (not due to move). I could tell that the movers paid great attention to what they were doing, and as a result they never banged or scraped a single item, which was greatly appreciated since 4 pieces had glass doors. With 4 guys, the work went quickly and efficiently. There is close coordination with the main office, which is clearly on the lookout to provide a high quality service and is attentive to customer feedback.

Everyone was professional. They moved very efficiently. I did notice slight damage on a couple pieces of furniture - looks like it was rubbing against a rail in the truck? It was nice wood furniture but I should be able to buff it out with some polish. Would hire again, would maybe supervise a little closer.

They were on time and got the job done quickly, and it was hard to beat the price. But they really banged up my Pottery Barn bed despite repeated requests that they wrap it in blankets and be very careful. I guess you get what you pay for.

Better than anticipated. Crew was super polite, arrived early and ready to go. They were a well oiled machine and moved a 15x10 storage unit full of heavy boxes, an 8 piece entertainment unit, kitchen furniture and numerous tubs of miscellaneous items. This would have been a multi-weekend effort for me and my dad. These guys knocked it out in just under 3.5 hours. Thank you Driver #7, Mover #31, and Mover #39. You guys were great!!

Tank, Trevon and Keith were on time, very polite and professional. We had no damage to any of our furniture or belongings. The move was very quick and efficient. The three of them were such a great team! I would definitely use them again on my next move. Their rates were very flexible and I could manage what I could afford to pay based on their furniture rate versus hourly rate. Thanks guys! Also, the office responded immediately to all of my questions and followed up as they said they would!

I can not say enough about the 4 gentlemen that moved me. They were excellent. I must speak first about Felix. She was the woman who answered my phone call there. Charm City Movers was the second place I called, and after all the information, wonderful moving knowledge, personality, patience with me, and just fun to talk to I knew this was the company for me. I called her many times adding things and removing things off my moving list and she was always treated me the same. She always was very quick with the new list and new estimate. I’m talking minutes. Felix told me they would be at my apartment at 8:00AM. Now they are located 26 miles away, I believe in Windsor Mill Md. When they pulled up it was 8:01. That really impressed me. The gentlemen where great, professional, and very nice. Every time I would start to move something that I thought might be in their way, one of them would say, “ma’am don’t move that, we will get it”. I was told that several times. I can’t say enough about Quinton, Travon, Anthony, and Donte or should I say Tank. At this point in my life I am planning on never moving again, but if for some reason I would have to, you bet I would definitely call them again.

The five gentlemen were at my residence precisely on time and got everything moved out in a super timely manner. Then got stuff moved into my new house and put stuff precisely where they needed to be, whether upstairs or downstairs. They were fun to work with and joked with each other rather than ever arguing. They were great, came out to help me lock down the list of what needed to be moved, were flexible as things changed, and then were really fast and efficient. I would use them again and absolutely recommend them if you're looking for movers. It actually snowed the night before to further complicate things but they did a great job!

Very good experience with this company from start to finish. The gal who answers their phone is a delight, they were extremely responsive, and all of my furniture arrived without scratches, dents, or irreparable damage. The group of moving guys were great. Everyone introduced themselves right away and they were polite and professional. We had a couple hiccups- one of my pieces of furniture had a door fall off but they fixed it and a small piece of my bed was accidentally left in the truck. When I contacted them, they dropped the piece off that day with no other issues. The team was fast and my floors stayed clean despite rain the night before. The only thing I give them a little ding on is that I think their guys need a little better training. We were moved many times while in the military and the movers always had straps to lift pieces and team-lifted heavier stuff. These guys were mostly young and they just powered through it alone and in some cases I was concerned that they were not using great technique. This didn't result in any problems with my move but I could see where it could. Other than a couple minor hiccups and my one concern, I was pleased with the service and would recommend them to other customers.

Moses, Cliff (Michael), and Tank were AMAZING! It was the hottest day of the summer and they didn't complain a bit. They were one time, very fast and took good care of our furniture. I would definitely hire them again!

The turned up on time and were friendly. They picked up materials from the first location and I went to the second location, blocks away, and waited. And waited. Eventually I called them and they said they were stopping for coffee. Then they came, and they did a good job carrying filing cabinets up three flights of stairs. The third location was my home. They had to get a heavy desk up a narrow and twisting stairwell. I begged them to detach the drawers from the desk, because I could see how the drawers would both get in the way and weigh them down, but they ignored me. They went up, and knocked part of the newell post off the bannister, gouged the walls, and got paint smears on the desk. The final leg of the move was uneventful.

"This review was interesting to me and even more so once I spoke to the 3 men who provided the service. The men on this move have been with our company for 7, 8, and 11 years. I value their opinion and respect their work ethic. I have witnessed all of them moving multiple times and they have always been very honest with me. In speaking with them, I was told the desk spoken of in the review had an angle on it, and was not emptied. The row house it went into had turns on the staircase and our men told this customer there would be damage as it was barely going to fit up those twisting stairs. They also told me individually they thought they did take the drawers out but being that this move was done in April, they could not be absolutely sure. We never got a call about it after the move. If you are moving into a row house with tight turns and a narrow staircase, it is important to measure, just to make sure these items will fit. Row houses are not made for large pieces. These homes are from the 1800's when furniture was made small. In today's world furniture is large and needs a larger home to accommodate them. I am truly saddened that you felt we dropped the ball on this move. Our men felt they did the best they could in the circumstances they were given. Regardless of your opinion of us and our professionalism, we wish you the best."
