purchased from Charm City Appliances three years ago cracked. I live ninety (90)
miles roundtrip from the Baltimore location. I called Charm City
the day before driving to Baltimore and was told Charm City had six (6) electric
27and quot; laundry centers [ $350 each with a $100 delivery charge]. The next day,
I drove to Charm City only to discover the store had only
two laundry centers. One laundry center was inoperable; the other was dirty and
looked to be in terrible condition. A sales person apologized and stated he expected a new shipment of laundry centers the
next day and he would e-mail pictures of the newly arrived laundry centers. I
called daily for a week to inquire about purchasing a laundry center. I was always
told pictures of the laundry centers would be e-mailed and/or texted to me; but
the e-mails and/or texts never arrived. Out of frustration, I purchased a never
used scratch and dent GE laundry center from Sears Outlet for $550 with free delivery
and installation .I even saved on sales tax because Maryland was having a tax free
holiday.
