Bert's Appliance Repair and Services

Same issues as previous reviews. We were assigned this company from American Home Shield (AHS), our warranty company, and we had to pay a fee for the service request. Took almost two (2) weeks before finally heard from the company. They told me it would be better if they talked to the tenant who had the specifics of the repair. So, I gave my tenant the phone number. The tenant and I called repeatedly. Nobody answers the phone and the voice message says not to leave more than one (1) message. Needless to say, never got a call back, never got the repair scheduled. I called AHS to schedule me with another company. I informed Bert's via text message that I was getting another company. They have since continued to send me unprofessional text messages. So it's no wonder they have such low ratings.

Very unprofessional and rude. Did not like the fact that I was watching him. I do this becauseI wanted to know how this appliance works. Got snappy with me and left my job half in a gruff. Did not give me a receipt for his time to prove he was there at all. They came from AHS. I would not recommend this company to fix a toy truck nor will I recommend anyone to purchase American Home Shield. They are terrible. Very difficult to deal with customer service overseas operators could barely communicate. I give both companies a -5 stars. ???

I was assigned this company via American Home Shield. Bert's Appliance Repair does not have a person to talk to just an answering machine that states that you're only allowed to leave 1 message. The technician did show up during the schedule window - however he/she never knocked on my door. The technician walked up to the door and left a door hanger stating sorry we missed you while I was home. I had cleared my work schedule for that day to ensure that I would be available for the technician. Because there is not a person at the company that I can talk to I was not able to voice my concerns with the company. I reached back out to American Home Shield and told them that I would like to never be assigned to this company again.

I had a wonderful technician. He was very professional, punctual, and knowledgeable. I always received responses from Bert’s in a timely manner. All services were completed to my satisfaction. I would definitely use them again. And I highly recommend.

Unprofessional and rude. Would not return numerous voicemails. Was forced to call AHS to request new repair company. One staff person actually went back and forth with me about the"her company" and it's professionalism. Im the customer...I make that assessment. And I think not!

Very well we have had people come for the microwave before and nobody took the time to actually tell us what was wrong with it. They came ordered parts rescheduled and the microwave we haven’t gotten to use for about two years is running again. Our dryer was broken for a couple weeks and they ordered the parts that were discontinued and managed to get a hold of them and fixed our dryer as well. No more running back and forth to friends houses to do laundry for a family of four

The freezer in the refrigerator stopped freezing.  Since the rest of the Refrigerator was working fine and we did not have much in the freezer, this was not an emergency.  We scheduled an appointment and after they arrived and pulled out the refrigerator they identified the problem as a fan not working correctly.  After they cleaned the fan it started working again.  We were asked if this was sufficient or did we still want to replace the fan.  Since to cost was reasonable, be opted for changing the fan.
This was the second time I used Bert's Appliance Repair.  Last time he fixed the dishwasher.  I was very pleased with the service and will use them again.
