Beltway installed key pad door opener about one year ago but installed it horizontally instead of vertically so water got in and destroyed it. i called them recently to replace the key pad and do some other work. they charged over $100 to come out as well as over 4times the cost of a new key pad and set of sensors. when i spoke with the owner he acknowledged how high his prices were compared with retail and said 'i can't compete with online prices." frankly i understand that and don't expect that but i ended up paying well over $300 for $60 in parts (retail) and about 1/2 hour of technicians time. the owner (i think) said he would look into it and get back to me. it is now over two weeks and he has not called me back or responded to my emails. Terrible customer service, outrageously high prices (especially when replacing something they installed improperly). I'll never go back and suggest you don't.

I called last night and they were able to come out this morning. They showed up when they said they would. I shopped around and they had the best price and did good work.

Horrible. The technician was a liar and preyed upon us for extra money. Sadly, we fell for it. When I initially called Beltway Garage I was told that they would take the "service fee" out of whatever work I needed done. This was not true. When they came to do the work they gave me the cost and then did the work and then still tacked on the service fee. I disputed this and they claimed they never told me that it would be taken out of the total cost. The technician also told me i needed new wheels for the door so unknowingly I had them put new wheels on the door. It cost me $650 and after 32 days it began to squeal like a dying cat. They told me I would have to pay the technician to come out again to just look at it b/c it was past the 30 day guarantee. Just a few weeks later our other garage door broke and I went to Sears...purchased the Craftsman garage door opener on my own and had their licensed techs install it for me....grand total...$290 and they replaced the whole chain and bar mechanism. GO TO SEARS...Don't waste your money on these scammers.

It took them 2 weeks and then they came a day late. Their installers are good, but the schedule people are lousy. There initial workmanship of the garage was lousy. The door fell down the first time I put it down and I am not that strong. They finally came back out and fixed it.
