Work was done professionally and promptly. Worker appeared very knowledgable, thorough, took photos and provided a full written report on exactly what (and what did not) need to be done. Workmanship was very good. Very good experience.

Fireplace inspection was honest. Photos were provided of interior and exterior showing problem with cracked cement around the chimney cap, which explained the reason we experienced water seeping into the brick fireplace surround inside our home. In July, 2011 they repaired the exterior cap problem. No longer have any water inside when it rains. Also very pleased with the optional treatment to seal the exterior chimney, which has an excellent guarantee. Appointments kept as scheduled. On the inital visit to inspect the fireplace, the technician was running late due to a problem at the prior customer's home but called in advance of the appointment time to so advise, and then called again to let us know the approximate time he'd be at our home, and then called again once he was on the road to our home. We really appreciated the respect as homeowners that he showed to us.

We needed both and inspection and to have the chimney swept. Two of the guys came out to do the inspection and did the job for the cost of an inspection. Our chimney was not used heavily but they went out of their way to sweep it for us at no additional charge. I would have no problem using these guys again.

We bought a home that had not been occupied for several years. The fireplace and chimney needed cleaning and repairs, literally from top to bottom. Band H is very busy, so we completed the work in stages, stretched out over a couple of months. Now we see why their schedule stays full. They did an outstanding job, and it was a pleasure to have them here. Part of the job, removing broken bricks from our fireplace and replacing them with matching ones, involved sawing through mortar and digging out bricks by hand. It was a messy, dusty job, but they sealed off the area with a tent. The rest of the house got hardly any dust at all. Everything looks great now, and next winter we will have a fireplace that is safe to use. I recommend Band H highly.

Called in Sept. Came by within a week to provide an estimate. Price was the most competitive. They were busy until Oct which was ok w/ us. Just prior to the installation date, they called us to say that that they were delivered the wrong part. They rescheduled for the following week. They arrived on-time, completed the work in a professional manner. They inspected and swept our existing chimney for no-charge due to the fact that they missed the original date. All in all an excellent experience. I would certainly use them again.

They had the most competitive price along with an "A" Angie's score. I checked other companies in the area and they had great prices. I did notice an indication from other reports that I could expect add-on issues and I got them!!! I just needed a cleaning and that is all I had performed. They did a nice, complete job and were extremely clean. They were late but communicated well. I would use them again!!!

They were fabulous! The bricks matched perfectly. We signed the contract in April, so it took awhile for them to came out and complete the project. It was absolutely worth waiting for them to do the work. They were very professional, worked extremely hard, and knew what they were doing. They didn't damage any of my plants, which was really great. They also fixed our dryer vent. They found that it was installed incorrectly, so they fixed it and we haven't had any problems since. I would recommend them to others!

Punctual, professional, and friendly. They commenced the work on the date promised, carefully sealed up the fireplace area with plastic to contain dust inside the house while they ground out the old mortar, and completed the initial part of the job on schedule. Additional work on the outside was delayed by weather, but we received prompt telephone updates from Mario to reschedule.

Tim Howell called to tell us he was running late, and he arrived at the time he indicated. He's a very friendly, courteous guy. He thoroughly cleaned the chimney and examined it. He showed me pictures of cracking in the mortar at the top of the chimney and gave me estimates to repair it. He said it's not something that needs to be done immediately, but it should be fixed and sealed to prevent damage down the road. We'll have him come back when the weather warms up to do the repairs. He did a great job of keeping the area clean and putting everything back in its place.

The company called a week in advance to remind me of the appointment, which was good because i had forgotten. Tim introduced himself and we discussed what i wanted to have done. He provided a cloth for the floor to catch any dirt that might spread out on the area. He explained the points of interest he noticed in the fireplace in terms i would understand. Tim provided photos and was able to email them along with a cost summary. Also, he cleaned the area before he left- vacuuming the ash from the open flue.

The technicians arrived as scheduled and thoroughly reviewed my fireplace. They explained everything they did and provided a written report with pictures via email, which I find very convenient.

We used B and H Chimney to inspect our chimney. It didn't need to be swept. We had a very positive experience with them. One of the co-owners was there with the single employee. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. They did the inspection and took photos. They also inspected the firebox on the interior. When they finished they showed us the photos and had detailed diagrams. They answered questions about the timeline of when times would need to be done. They even came early for the appointment.

Left the house clean and told me about possible problem areas to watch. My grown daughter was at the house to let them in and pay them. She told me more than once that they were "REALLY, REALLY nice". They impressed her.

I bid on and won a chimney inspection and cleaning in the WYPR online auction. We bought our house 1 year ago and the previous owners told us that the fireplace was unusable. After Tim finished cleaning and inspecting the chimney, he told us that we need minor repairs, and that we can actually use our fireplace! We will definitely be calling this company back to finish the work on the chimney cap!

I found Mr. Howell to be a pleasure to have in my home. He was very thorough and did some cleaning even though he did not charge me. He did discover a small crack in the firebox wall and explain what that meant and when it should be fixed. I felt no sales pressure.
