I was very please with their service and they were very reasonble.

They were fabulous! The bricks matched perfectly. We signed the contract in April, so it took awhile for them to came out and complete the project. It was absolutely worth waiting for them to do the work. They were very professional, worked extremely hard, and knew what they were doing. They didn't damage any of my plants, which was really great. They also fixed our dryer vent. They found that it was installed incorrectly, so they fixed it and we haven't had any problems since. I would recommend them to others!

Band H Chimneys did an excellent job on the chimney and fireplace. In addition, when I had some concerns and questions, they were extremely responsive and went above and beyond the job to make sure my questions were answered and that things were in really great shape. Punctual, professional, and friendly. They commenced the work on the date promised, carefully sealed up the fireplace area with plastic to contain dust inside the house while they ground out the old mortar, and completed the initial part of the job on schedule. Additional work on the outside was delayed by weather, but we received prompt telephone updates from Mario to reschedule.

Tim Howell called to tell us he was running late, and he arrived at the time he indicated. He's a very friendly, courteous guy. He thoroughly cleaned the chimney and examined it. He showed me pictures of cracking in the mortar at the top of the chimney and gave me estimates to repair it. He said it's not something that needs to be done immediately, but it should be fixed and sealed to prevent damage down the road. We'll have him come back when the weather warms up to do the repairs. He did a great job of keeping the area clean and putting everything back in its place.

The technicians arrived as scheduled and thoroughly reviewed my fireplace. They explained everything they did and provided a written report with pictures via email, which I find very convenient.

We used B and H Chimney to inspect our chimney. It didn't need to be swept. We had a very positive experience with them. One of the co-owners was there with the single employee. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. They did the inspection and took photos. They also inspected the firebox on the interior. When they finished they showed us the photos and had detailed diagrams. They answered questions about the timeline of when times would need to be done. They even came early for the appointment.

Left the house clean and told me about possible problem areas to watch. My grown daughter was at the house to let them in and pay them. She told me more than once that they were "REALLY, REALLY nice". They impressed her.

They were running a few minutes behind and we received a phone call letting us know exactly what was going on. Really appreciated the call! The quickly got to work and took the time to answer our questions and did not rush through the job.

I bid on and won a chimney inspection and cleaning in the WYPR online auction. We bought our house 1 year ago and the previous owners told us that the fireplace was unusable. After Tim finished cleaning and inspecting the chimney, he told us that we need minor repairs, and that we can actually use our fireplace! We will definitely be calling this company back to finish the work on the chimney cap!

I found Mr. Howell to be a pleasure to have in my home. He was very thorough and did some cleaning even though he did not charge me. He did discover a small crack in the firebox wall and explain what that meant and when it should be fixed. I felt no sales pressure.

I need to follow up and make a second appointment. They were prompt, very reasonable, very through, very courteous, reasonably priced and a very personable guy. They said the work that I had done, if I go with them, they will take off the amount I paid for the inspection off the total bill. Fabulous!

It was excellent. The chimney sweep was professional and prompt. Stayed more than an hour and cleaned up wonderfully. Charged us the price quoted and gave a list of issues on our chimney without hard selling their company to do the repairs. Very detailed and friendly. My family feels we got more than we paid for in service and professionalism. If you are going to get your chimney cleaned and you want a no hassle, honest appraisal and cleaning for a terrific price, you absolutely need to use these folks. They are good.

I called and got an appointment for the next morning. He called to say he was running about 5 minutes late. He climbed up on the roof to inspect the chimney stacks and showed me digital photos of the situation while he explained. He identified the problem that was allowing the birds down (no mesh on the cap) and also alerted me to a far more significant problem with a closed off fireplace that was providing venting for the boiler. He was describing what hypothetically could be the problem and I asked if he would mind taking a look at the basement to see. He said sure, and wound up taking some of the piping apart to get a really good look at how much damage there was. (There wasn't a cap on the other chimney at all, and it was a steel liner so the rain was rusting the whole thing out). He was honest about the fact that I could put off dealing with the situation for several years but that it could cause serious problems at that point. He gave detailed recommendations and a quote for the future work immediately. I think he spent two hours at my house. I felt like I got a huge value for $75 and he answered all of my questions and left all the information I might need to make a good decision about what to do about my larger problem in the future in writing. I will absolutely call them again.

It went great, Tim was polite and took the time to answer my questions. He was running about 30 minutes late and called to tell me. I appreciated his honesty in telling me the chimney didn't need to be cleaned.

Very satisfied with entire job. Tim is friendly and very professional and I intend to have him back to clean the chimney mid-winter. The work done on the crown looks good. UPDATE: They redid the chimney flu with flexible liner for an extra $800 because the liner couldn't be installed into the flu as-is. They had to remove all of the existing terracotta lining. The work they did was really excellent. When they left, everything was cleaned up and they put a solid 2 days of work into it. Their attitude is really impeccable. They're one of the most honest companies I've dealt with in the past couple of years.
