I have been seeing her for about 6 years. It is at the VA hospital. So you call them, and the doctors assistant will set up the appointment. You always get a qualified person to assist you in a reasonable amount of time. She communicates with me very well. I use oxygen, and one time when I was flying I needed a note from her to bring my oxygen on the plane. She was able to be reached and we got it straightened out without missing my flight. She is a good doctor.

He works on installments. Some people make you pay up front. He lets you pay in installments. I don't know how many more treatments I have to go, but it was fair, I got a chance to pay it. He even went to the point of pulling one tooth. I got to him so much in pain I was going for an appointment. That tooth started hurting, they almost had to come and carry me into his office. He pulled the tooth and I had no more pain. What it was, was my wisdom teeth that was giving me all these problems. I had to have 2 more pulled. He is working on the periodontist, gum disease, and all that. He explains to you why you have it. He told me it wasn't because I wasn't brushing my teeth right, he was cleaning underneath.

During this visit, I had an appointment at the Gastrointestinal clinic. I had the wrong time and arrived very early, and the receptionist told me when my appointment was and checked me in, allowing me to complete some other business in the city. When I returned, I did not have to check in again, just make sure she knew that I was there. Within about 15 minutes, an assistant came and took 6 of us and assigned us to examination rooms. Another assistant then came in and did vitals. After another 10 minutes or so, the doctor came in. She did her exam and got information that wasn't already in my record - she had obviously reviewed my records in advance. Before giving me instructions, she checked everything out with the clinic's director.
By that time the walk-in audiology clinic was open, and I had my hearing aid adjusted after about a 10 minute wait. The clinician was thorough and appeared unrushed, despite the fact that the clinic sees a lot of people.
