We are in the customer service business that provides plumbing, heating and air conditioning services. At Amazing Plumbing, Heating & Air, our business philosophy is to provide ultimate comfort levels in your home by educating the client to make Amazing decisions. We accomplish this by asking a few questions about your problems and offering the best indoor air quality products coupled with energy efficient HVAC systems tailored to your needs. About Us: Amazing Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. was founded by Andrew Fitzhugh Sr. We have been in business since January of 2006 and we are family owned and operated. We are located in Downtown Baltimore (Federal Hill) so we are quickly and easily accessible to all surrounding counties. We design our systems using the most up to date heat load software that allows for most of the newer material that are used in green construction and newly adopted codes as well. We install, maintain and service all of the systems listed below but we are always interested in learning about alternative styles of heating and air conditioning whether it be new or old. We are going to be around for a long time so what is new now will be common practice in the years to come. We also offer multiple financing plans to assist our approved customers get what they need and want.

"Hello Mr. [Member Name Removed], Unfortunately what you experienced over the phone is exactly what we want to avoid. You asked a person that helps our customers by scheduling appointments with the right person with absolutely no technical knowledge or field experience to diagnose, prescribe and quote solutions and effectively explain all of the intricacies of what it requires to perform the repairs when they are not qualified to do so. We have many options for repairs and our diagnostic fee can be applied to any repair you decide. We can tell you that the range is $99 and upwards depending on what is right for you and we offer financing if that makes it easier for you. It can be challenging to make these large repairs. I appreciate your feedback but unfortunately we can't accurately diagnose and explain all of what we do for the repairs we offer over the phone without seeing it. "To summarize this quickly: We were contacted over the weekend because other companies would not respond per the customer. Our veteran dispatcher of over 4 years explained the options for after hours and normal hours services twice announcing the difference between them is the $99 does not get waived after hours. We have licensed technicians who are randomly drug tested and have had background checks performed annually to ensure our quality and your safety. We also send trained technicians around in fully stocked vehicles with the standard replacement parts so we can provide comfort to you the first visit in most cases with minimal time wasted by our clients. Everyone's time is valuable and we understand what our clients want. There are investments we make to provide the level of service we want to provide to the clients who want what we offer. I don't operate the other companies she stated she contacted but obviously they weren't there for them when she was in need. I can't state what their expenses are nor what they should be however our work is appropriately priced for the level of service we want to provide with some earnings included. What she failed to mention is that we inspected her entire system at her rental property so she was unable to witness our services nor the repairs we recommended. We found that the flame sensor was the reason for the service call however we also opened her evaporator coil and found that it was filthy along with her blower wheel and air filter. To clean the coil and blower wheel we would have to remove her fan motor in the process which is a large undertaking to say the least. We also perform a combustion analysis and adjust the entire burner as necessary to ensure her safety on all fuel burning equipment that we service which is also included in the quoted price. The customer did not want to listen to our professional recommendations nor the reasoning behind it. We had all of the parts on our vehicle to get her up and running the same day but she declined getting her tenant heat. I personally tried to contact her on Monday and I was literally told what she thought, I uttered "I understand" and she hung up on me! I would like to have been able to explain everything in detail to her again had I have been given the opportunity. If the customer would like to revisit our services in the future I would like to meet her onsite so she could witness what we do to earn the repairs that recommended. I understand seeing a price tag if you were simply buying a part having sticker shock however we are providing a service that goes much further than buying a part, slamming it in and walking away without regard to efficiency, performance and safety.
