ADAMS TREE EXPERTS

Showed up to take the tree off of the house the next day to tarp and plywood was used to cover the whole on the roof. They would not give me an estimate to remove the rest of the tree and they did not come back for over a month. In the meantime my grass was dead when they finally came back to remove the rest of it. They brushed my quest for service off countless times. I needed a engineer to evaluate the home for structural and insurance reasons so I had to hound them even more to complete the job. I could not move stuff out of the house until they finally came back to remove the tree from the yard.

Called Adams, they came over the next day to do a review. We agreed on a price with a handshake. They came out with a crew of three, the owner went into the tree by climbing it, and started taking down the branches, then the trunk. They did an excellent job, didn't drop any of it instead lowering the parts to the ground. When done they cut it up into log-sized parts (as per my request since I like to burn firewood) and even stacked the smaller logs in my firewood holders. They took away all the small branches and such. Overall an excellent job, I'm very happy with them.

I guess it went okay. I wanted the tree eliminated completely and they left a 6 foot stump. Originally Ron told me that he could remove the fence and completely eliminate the tree, but after he started I guess that was too difficult. The job was difficult and the work was done very well. However, my neighbor's gate was removed and not replaced properly upon completion. Furthermore, the cable line now hangs extremely low after the completion of the work. Also I requested removal of additional brush which would have taken about 10 minutes with the equipment that they had, and my request was denied.

HE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE TREES. HE IS AN EXPERT, HAS BEEN DOING THIS TYPE OF WORK FOR 30 YEARS, & DOES THE WORK WELL. HE WILL ALWAYS BE THERE WHEN HE SAYS HE'LL BE THERE & DOES AN EXCELLENT JOB.
