We were overcharged for labor and installation. In addition, the technician tried to charge us for 1.5 hours of work when he was only there for an hour, at best. After we purchased the toilet from Lowe's and bringing it home for installation, Uneeda plumbing tried to charge us over $600 for less than an hour of work. Uneeda has taken longer than 2 weeks to provide the refund. This was once a reliable company. We've used them in our home on multiple occasions to do many jobs. We will look for a new company at this point.

They came out last summer and repaired toilets, installed water filters and garbage disposal. They were expensive for the work performed (more than $5K), but OK. The garbage disposal broke last week and the rep said "there will be no charge for a service call since it's still under warranty. When the technician came out, he fixed it in 5 minutes, charged $165 and insisted that the rep "didn't know what she was talking about". When we called Uneeda, the answer was "sorry, I guess I was wrong; I guess we always charge even if we don't do any work." Would never use them again or recommend their services.

Lynn’s team was great. I called and they were at my home in a couple hours and 3 hours later my basement toilet was back up and running. They were very clean on a not so clean job.

Lynn is a pleasure to work with, and he has an eye for detail. He is not cheap ... but he's good. You know the job will be done right if you hire him.

It went great. Lynn Schilling is wonderful to work with -- friendly, knowledgeable, conscientious and careful. He and his people arrived on time, got the work done, and helped me figure out some tricky access questions. They were careful in installing new systems, and cleaned up completely afterwards. It is a pleasure to deal with the company. I would definitely hire again.

Plumber found the leak, fixed it, explained what I could do to prevent further damage in the future.

I have used Lynn Schilling and Uneeda Plumbing for nearly thirty years, since his father, Bob, ran the business.  They have always been highly professional, honest, reasonably priced and very dependable.  Mostly, they just do great work.  I highly recommend them for any plumbing related work that you need done.  They are certainly more responsive and reasonably priced than the well known, larger plumbing outfits in the DC metro area.

I've used Lynn for many years.  He never disappoints me.  His is always punctual,  professional and extremely  knowledgeable.
I had asked for a water filter for my kitchen faucet.  He suggested that I change my existing instant hot to hot and cold.  That would give me the filtered water that I wanted and save me a lot of money by not getting a water filter for the faucet.  I so appreciated his suggestion and it works great.  He also replaced my existing faucet and soap dispenser.  He suggested that I order both from a website that would save me money - once again, a great suggestion.
I highly recommend Uneeda for all plumbing needs.

I was hoping to replace the shower faucets. They are the older two handle type, one for ?hot? and one for ?cold.? They are the economy models. Some of the threads are worn and some of the plastic covers are cracked.  I have to replace the washers about once or twice a year.  The last time, I did not ?seat? them correctly, and we go a leak into the wall.  I was hoping to get a single handle ?washer less? model. 
     The ?Uneeda? contractor was professional. He brought a trainee. They put on covers over their shoes. They explained all the work they would do with an estimate.   To repair the existing faucet would be $250.00. To install a washer less single handle would be over $3000. The new faucet would be top of the line.  I had them repair the existing faucet, which was no more than replacing the washers and properly seating them. They did not replace any hardware other than the rubber washers. 
     This cost too much for the work that they did, even though it was very professional.

Lynn responded to our urgent call and put us into the schedule the next day. A few years prior, he had installed an easy to use shut-off valve (that also limited peak pressure into the house) so that additional water damage could be limited. On arrival the next day, he found the water pipe between family room and bathroom and also inspected surrounding pipes. Wet areas (to include between the walls) have dried without additional damage, with one preventive repair to follow. Lynn knows what he is doing and prices are reasonable for what is needed.

Trust his advice.

Uneeda is one of the most responsive companies I've ever dealt with!  The office manager (Karen) responded very quickly, fit me into today's schedule, and kept me updated on the projected arrival time.  The plumber (Lynn Schilling) was courteous, explained everything, fixed the problem, and cleaned up very neatly.
