They charged a lot for only a little work. Power washing hit door jamb and blew dirt and water into the house. When I asked them why they did not weed a whole section, they said Virginia Creeper is not a weed and refused to complete the job-- don't I get to decide? And their billing was atrocious (always incorrect and needing revisions-- then complaining payment was 'late')

"Unfortunately, what the homeowner wrote on his review is not true. He requested we remove the Virginia Creeper, and we came back in and removed it per his request before he wrote his review on 5-7-23. We cleaned all his existing beds from leaves, sticks and hand weeded and performed crisp clean 3-inch hand edging then applied mulch to the existing cleaned beds and hauled resulting landscaping debris from the job. We never heard anything about any water entering his house. He was billed according to his signed contract."

They arrived as scheduled and completed the work as we requested. They removed all the debris except the trampoline.

I was not super impressed. I feel that they charged a lot for the services that they provided and I was overcharged on at least one occasion.

The team did okay in the front yard but based on the amount I had to rake in the back and all the clumps of grass clippings it was apparent that they did not bag the back yard. After several e-mail exchanges the long and short of it is the company did not complete the job to our mutual satisfaction and they voided the contract we signed with them to perform these services as well as mowing and bagging for this year. So now we still do not have the services that we really wanted the core aeration. It started out good but ended up bad.

"What the customer failed to state is: she sent an e-mail to us saying she would not pay for services even after the crew was sent out to mow the back yard a second time and bagged the grass that was a foot long. Lapinski’s Landscaping, Inc. cancelled the contract because when a customer tells you they will not pay you then it is time to cut your losses and terminate the contract. We never like to lose a potential long term customer but sometimes a business needs to make a hard decision."

They sent people out, but the majority of the time there was no English speaking person on the job. They worked hard, but it was hard to communicate, which is what made it frustrating. They did a good job.

This was an area bordering the street and my new driveway that was unavoidably damaged when the driveway was widened and repaved. The area includes a swale and culvert pipe (that runs under the driveway); it was not just a patch of level ground. Lapinski's was prompt in returning my call, coming by to assess the work needed, and providing an estimate. The 4 person work crew arrived as scheduled, worked non-stop, and got the sod installation done quickly. They even used some leftover sod to repair a separate nearby area in the lawn at our request, at no extra charge. They rolled and watered all the sod thoroughly and left watering instructions before leaving. The sod has taken very well and looks great. Terrific job. Might be a bit more expensive than I thought it should be, but the service and end result were top notch.

Lapinski's was the only company that actually submitted a timely estimate to us after having four different landscaping companies come to our house to talk about the work we wanted done. Lapinski's scheduled us in within a week of receiving our deposit and the work was completed on time. Eric is great about returning phone calls and we are very happy with the service we received.
