Absolutely wonderful! The team is so professional and responsive from the initial consult, the design process, and during the installation. We worked with Jeff Schwartz, the owner, Eric who managed the project, Rob who was the landscape architect, and Marcos, the job site lead. Even during the one week installation, they were quick to tweak the plan as it started to unfold when we saw small things to change (ie. making one of the flower beds smaller, moving trees). The masonry hardscape work is meticulous, the plantings are stunning and such an wonderful combination, and our neighbors are so impressed! Honestly, the most striking element is the professionalism of this team from their quality of work, they responsivness and politeness, even their uniforms and professional appearance. They have come back for post-installation inspections, of course calling ahead to make sure this okay and assurances to re-inspect in the spring to ensure the plantings survive the winter.

We bought a house in July, 2011 with this beautiful, huge Red Maple tree that shaded most of the back yard, the deck, much of the house, and even dropped leaves into the front yard. It had shown some evidence of failed cabling from the previous owners, and it also had some green blotchy fungus on it. In an unrelated email chain, I noticed that the wife on an acquaintance worked for Ashton Manor, so I gave them a call 8/13/12 to take a look at the tree. They said the tree had to come down...this Summer...and told me it was because the split trunk was beginning to rot in the and quot;crotchand quot; of the trunk-- their word not mine! There was actually another place where cracks in the trunk were starting to rot also. I called another company for a second opinion, and they also said it had to come down, and gave me as estimate of about $5,000. Double whammy-- I loved that tree, and I can buy lots of electronics and video games for $5k...
Jeff at Ashton Manor tirelessly exchanged many emails with us. He agreed to a telecon with me and my wife to discuss specifics. They were prompt and worked well with us trying to figure out the best way to take down this tree (proper crane, where to place crane, chipper, etc.) They were really great all the way around, and we had them do a bunch of extra work.
The main work-- taking down the tree-- was about $3,000 of the total...about half of the other estimate. Wow.
Two days after the tree came down we had a huge windy thunderstorm. We all thought about that tree and if part of it would have come down in that storm. We were glad we'd contacted Ashton Manor in time.
