I ended up having to contact their supervisor to come out and check their work and they admitted the work was not done correctly and they spent 3 hours finishing the cleaning.
The owner called me and wrote me stating she would send the crew back to finish the cleaning and in no way should things be dropped or damaged. Since it was a still the whole-house cleaning being finished, I was not to be charged since I already paid the $360. She stated verbally and in writing she would come inspect the cleaning afterwards. The 2nd crew came, they also did damage and didn't do a complete job. I heard crashing upstairs in the master bathroom. I went up with the new manager as the other one left the company and the owner didn't bother to show up as promised - and saw an acrylic vertical jar scratched and the lid dented on the only shelf in the bathroom. A smaller rectangle acrylic box with a hinged lid was missing. It must have broke and the maid threw it away along with its contents (floss picks). I showed the new manager the bent mini-blinds and showed some of the obvious dust still left everywhere such as the foyer railing and other blinds. She took pictures and said she would talk to the owner.
I didn't hear back so I wrote the owner saying I wanted my key back and would not continue the service. I looked at my credit card statement and saw they had charged me an additional $130 for the finishing the original whole-house cleaning! I went around taking additional pictures of all the dust left everywhere on shelves, baseboards, and furniture (all items specifically listed that they would clean in the contract). I wrote another email to the owner ticked about the extra unauthorized charge and the horrible service plus additional damage.
The owner called again. She says the right things but her actions speak louder. She said she always checks the cleanings for new clients, but didn't in my case. So she promised she would when they came back to finish, but again didn't show up. She offered for a crew to come for the THIRD time to do the INITIAL cleaning! I told her in no way was her people allowed in my house again - I couldn't afford the damage, and they already had two chances to get it clean but failed miserably. She agreed to come look at the house that afternoon and would return my key then. I had to take off work early to meet her at my house - but she didn't bother to show up yet again! She didn't call either...she instead sent a young male to return the key.
The crews never did clean the house - I have pictures if anyone wants to see them. It was horrible and a waste of both my time and my money. The owner did return the extra $130 to my credit card but should have refunded the $360 or part of it since they never cleaned downstairs on either visit - and did damage upstairs as well as didn't clean many areas such as shelves upstairs. What they did clean was hit & miss. For example, they would dust 1-2 shelves but not the other 1-2 shelves on a bookcase. They never cleaned the top of the bookcase and when they did attempt to dust the mini-blinds, they either damaged them or did a swipe or two that left track marks of the swipe in the general dust covered blinds making the effort stand out. They never told me when they damaged things and hid them when possible by throwing away the item rather than leaving the damaged item for the home owner to find.
Do not waste your time, your money, or risk your household items and valuables to this company and while the owner says the right things, her actions show she doesn't manage the business well nor stand behind her word or her employees' work.
