Advantage Asphalt

From what I can tell, this company did a good job on my driveway, however, Danny, the project manager is by far the most dishonest person I've met in a long time. He offered me a price for part of my driveway for which I agreed. I asked that he send it to me in writing. A few days later, he calls and says, we can do your driveway tomorrow. I said - we don't have a contact. He promised to put a copy in my mailbox or e-mail it to me that evening. He did not. They, his team, showed up ready to start at 9 am. I had no contract. He ran to his truck came back with a form, that he'd signed but it had no price. I told him there was not price and he put a price in. I thought it was a little more than what we agreed, but not enough for me to squabble over. A few minutes later he rang the bell and suggested that we repair the lower part of the driveway at a price of $3100. Since it was in the price range of the other bids I'd received, I agreed. He said he would write a contract for that. At 11:00 am I looked out, there were holes cut in various areas of the driveway, but they were gone. Everyone! They returned at 2:30 pm and worked until they'd completed the task. Danny gave me the document and the price was $700 higher then we'd agreed. I was very angry and I am still. He started talking about being a christian, which really ****** me off. I said I'd get my credit card. He said no, they did not except credit cards event though it states clearly on Angie's List that Advantage Asphalt LLC does. I wrote the check. My advice to anyone wanting to have their driveway repaired is to stay away from this company!
