As the prior reviews stated, terrible service. I paid for twice a week. They never showed up twice a week. I called numerous times and the problem was never resolved. Then the guy showed up to take my can, luckily I was home to stop him. He stated that the house was noted as vacant, three months after I moved in. They don't deserve the one star that is auto filled.

Terrible. I haven’t even called the place yet, but seems it would get me nowhere. I’ve read reviews here and on BBB website. All the same. The issue I’ve had to date is the constant mess all over the road after they leave. Broken glass, liquid running all over the place and staining the road, trash, batteries, rotting food, you name it!

In an attempt to resolve a failure of Ambers Disposal to render paid services, I spoke with Brenda, a woman who claimed to be the owner, several times over the past two days. During each conversation she was exceptionally confrontational, dismissive, defensive and all around unprofessional. Her constant, relentless effort to deflect or side step the issue at hand and to avoid assuming any responsibility for the conduct of herself or employees reflects an abject lack of integrity and total disdain for the community she purportedly serves. Above all other issues, which were not solved, but even if they were, my interaction with her is a stand-alone reason why my family has discontinued use of their service and will happily use Grayhound Trash Removal .

Ambers Disposal has been our residential trash company for almost one year now. Recently, they have been skipping our twice-weekly service, which we have paid for. They initially blamed it on a pile of stone dust off to the side of the base of our driveway and claimed that it was blocking their ability to get their trucks up the driveway. However, when we sent the owner photos showing the endless expanse of room to go around it with their truck, the issue became that somehow we hadn't been paying a "fee" for house pick up, rather than street pick up. I let them know that they have been doing house pick up this entire time, and that it was the whole reason we chose their company (because it was a service they offered), and that I had requested that service and agreed to the higher cost from the very beginning. If they have been under-charging us, that is their own fault. I've paid what I was invoiced. The issue THEN became our type of trash and the large pile, which had only accumulated due to them skipping us 3-4 times in a row. We have asked them to come out and pick up the trash we have paid to have removed, or to come out and call us so we can come outside and have a conversation with them in person to resolve the issue. Instead, they decided to sneak on to our property to allegedly do a "site survey" and take photos and then inform us because of the volume of trash (LITERALLY BECAUSE THEY HAVEN'T PICKED IT UP), they will need to switch us to "commercial service" which is $110/mo, versus $80 per quarter. When we protested this, the owner told us rudely that "there are plenty of other trash services," and hung up. They are super unprofessional and simply trying to gauge their customers for more money.

Horrible. Worst company I’ve had to deal with in a long time. Customer service is non existent!

The owner is the worst. I called because my trash has not been picked up 3 Tuesday’s in a row. She told me I was lying because her driver said the trash was not out by 11 am on Tuesday, I explained that I put my trash out on Monday evenings. I explained that I am not taking time away from my job to call and lie on a driver, her response was she didn’t have bad drivers only lying customers. I asked for a credit for non-pick up and she said she would cancel my account and hung up the phone. The lady has no respect for her customers.

false advertisement claims to provide service to all of st marys county but when i called they dont service my area only certain areas around me

I used Amber's at a renovation and more recently as I was packing to move. They answer the phone, they give estimates that they stand behind, they deliver prompt service. Their prices are affordable. I would use them again and highly recommend them to others.
