Bill was a lifesaver. He was patient while I described all the alterations needed, provided all the measurements and double checked to ensure they were correct. He provided estimates for the work and helped me make decisions that fit within my budget. I have total faith that Bill and his staff can handle any type of cabinet work whether large or small and will be going back for services in the future.

Our experience working with Bill could not have been better! The bookcases were designed to look built in (which they do), while remaining detached for flexibility. Bill made them with our specific needs in mind, and scaled them perfectly for the room. He has wonderful suggestions and is exceptionally easy to work with. His main concern is always client satisfaction.

The bookcases are actually the second project Bill has completed in our home. Several months earlier, he designed and built a sideboard in our dining room with ample storage below. The closures on the doors and drawers are unbelievable. Bill's workmanship is exquisite and the painted finish we chose is flawless. We are very pleased.

Bill built and installed these kitchen cabinets over 25 years ago. His quality is obvious in the fact that they have basically maintained their look and feel over these years. When it came to some repairs only Bill was qualified to do this.

I am very pleased to be the 1st to review Bill Schreitz for Angie's List! He is AWESOME! My husband and I recently bought a house with an untouched 1980's kitchen!!! TERRIBLE! After getting some estimates for cabinet refacing and looking into Ikea (the first too expensive the second too confusing) I started to research DIY refacing. After much research I decided we could remove and attach the drawer fronts and doors and started hunting for a source to buy them. Unsure about buying them online, I did some research in my area and found Bill and a few others on a woodworkers website. I liked how he really wanted to know about my project and how patient he was to answer my barrage of questions concerning what I'm sure was a small job for him. However, I really went out on a limb to hire him as I found him before I paid for Angie's and had no personal references, but talked to him so many times over the phone and finally met him in person and got such a great feeling about him. My husband however, is a serious cynic! Therefore, I did google him with no negative responses and checked with the B.B.B with the same outcome.
After I sent him sketches, pictures and measurements of my kitchen, Bill gave me an estimate. I must be honest, it was more expensive than the online dealer I considered, but I felt more comfortable knowing I could come to his workshop and see his work and my doors in the making. His price included him coming to our home to double check my measurements (which were off by a tad here and there). Knowing his professional paint job would be better than ours, I also asked him to paint them. He also drilled for the hinges and was nice enough to consult with us about painting our cabinets as well (we sanded and painted our cabinets ourselves). He also ordered new hinges for me with no extra mark up and gave us the balance of the paint he used for the doors and drawers which was enough to completely paint our cabinets and saved us a few dollars on buying more paint.
The doors are beautiful!!!! They changed our eyesore kitchen to a wow kitchen for much less than the cabinet refacing companies planned to charge! But I also have to say his patience, kindness and humor helped make a somewhat bewildering project manageable. My project was a small one, but he does all kinds of amazing carpentry. He's the best!
